    Awesome!
Great to see them looking young and great close ups.
I Went to school with Steve Garvey we use to jam at each others houses.
He played the lead/rhythm guitar at first but decided to move to bass after a while. We lived in Prestwich, from which have spawned a few other musicians over the years.
I later worked with Steve Diggle's sister, Wendy, whom fancied me but I was after her mate! Typical! 😂
Saw the Buzzcocks live a few times around Manchester. Such a great band live.
    RIP PS.

'Lipstick' was Pete's version of it later on in the Buzzcocks - whether he had all lyrics at the time, I don't know. I'm sure he had the vocal melody. I was given the guitar and played the chords while he played the lead line. I really liked it and he said, 'You can have that.' It was definitely mine to take away and do something with - all I kept was the guitar phrase. I wrote the rest of the song round that. I was slightly miffed when the Buzzcocks did 'Lipstick'. [laughs] Pete's version is much more melodic. He tucked that guitar riff more behind the song than I did." - Howard Devoto

TH-cam always puts up the reissue dates and remaster dates. It would be more of a history lesson and more of a tribute if in your posts you state the ORIGINAL year.
