Yeah. Moline was the best team in the state this year, regardless of class size. Metamora on the other hand wouldn’t have won without all their garbage tactics. @@qcmohawks1 sour grapes. And no, high school doesn't need a shot clock. Watching teams just throw up shots every few seconds gets boring pretty fast. Shot clocks are for people with short attention spans and no real knowledge of the game.
I’m not a fan of either team but next year when the shot clock rule changes a lot of these teams are gonna have a hard time. Won’t be able to get up and just hold the ball. Forces teams to actually do something but yeah very boring state games this year.

Agreed, Benet could have had a better chance with a shot clock. Moline controlled the clock for pretty much the second half. 😌
