Wishing Billy Kametz a speedy recovery from his colon cancer but I have to admit we starting to like Stephen Fu more as Naofumi.
He also pretty much almost sound like Billy. Barely notice a difference. But still hope Billy recovers
If they bring Billy back to re-record Naofumi for the BluRay release, I hope they keep Stephen’s track too. It would be disrespectful not to.
@@animanco6833 doesn't quite have the earth-rumbling edge of rage I'm used to hearing then Naofumi gets mad, but it's a close imitation, I agree.

Not watching this clip in case of spoilers, just came here to say that I started this anime 2 days ago and it's probably the best isekai I've came across in awhile

S1 is significantly better than S2 has been so far. And if you are watching it in dub, the VA for Naofumi is different in S2 due to S1 Naofumi, Billy Kametz, getting diagnosed with colon cancer. Show is still great but just telling you to manage expectations between seasons so you aren’t disappointed like a lot of other fans have been and so you understand why Naofumi sounds different between seasons (again, if you are watching dub).
I loved season 1 and still haven't started season 2. The title is kind of spoilery though.
@@Connor-8 It seems they wanted to hella rush this arc to get to the next part, at least from what I can tell. Idk if it would have been much better anyways, so I guess it's fine. This part of the next arc already looks more interesting though.
@@Arubedo I haven't read LN or manga, yet, but from what I have seen and looked into, they 100% did just that. They skipped a whole mini arc that took place before the Turtle arc and then cut and changed stuff for that arc. Most LN and manga readers have said that the Turtle arc is the worst in the series, I mean when the author says he regrets writing it, you know it's bad lol. So I don't mind them skipping a bunch of stuff in it but I still feel the anime did a poor job of adapting the Turtle arc. I just feel like they could have explained stuff better and done some stuff differently. I mean if the author, the fans, and the studio adapting it knows the arc is bad and the studio planned on trying to just get through it to get to the next arc, you'd think they would have done their own spin on it to make it at least a bit more enjoyable? At least, that's what I would have tried to do but they just skipped a lot of the boring and repetitive parts from source material and sped through basically everything else.
It took me this long to realize the voice actress for Filo also voices Kumoko in Kumo desuga Nani.
