I have a friend who lives in Utah and it would be great to visit her one day and also Arches National Park, while we were there too, the scenery was stunning. Those rock arches were amazing and well worth a 5km hike to see everything it had to offer and I think I would have to be there very early too, not a fan of extreme heat, cheers Alan
It's crazy how popular Arches has become, you even need a reservation to get in now! I used to stay in Moab because it was a convenient overnight heading to Salt Lake and the Pacific Northwest and visited dozens of times, so maybe that is why it does not seem so special to me. Thanks for making it look fresh again!
You are absolutely right. Some trails do require reservations, so we had to miss one of the planned ones because we didn't know that. Still, it was nice to visit this unique geological wonder.
Pictures of Delicate Arch which I saw first on the front of a National Geographic magazine when I was about seven years old made me aware of the world and I just wanted to go and see it all myself. We have been up to the Arch on six occasions, nearly seven, to experience the colours as the sun set. The time we missed was when we found the last section of trail covered with ice that we could not cross. We did find an overlook nearby though where we could see most of the arch if a bit distant. Arches Park is yet another favourite. Loved seeing your visit and your walk in the Devils Garden. So much to enjoy here.
Delicate Arch is a symbol of Arches National Park. This freestanding natural sandstone arch is formed by millions of years of erosion shaped by wind, water, and ice erosion. Unlike you, we had a problem with the extreme heat, so we started hiking very early. This whole trip was amazing and filled my heart with excitement. Thank you for your kind words.

Hi Vedrana. The place is amazing. I like to jump from rock to rock and this place is perfect for that. The view of the surroundings is definitely stunning but the arches look incredible. Hi Vedrana! Beautiful hiking and geology at Arches NP! The variety of arches is quite impressive! The one has such a long thin span while many others are thick and very tall. Great view of the Double Arch! Looks like it was extremely hot when you were there… great idea to start out early to see Delicate Arch, that one I particularly seems perfect! 👌⭐⭐⭐
Thank you Jen. Delicate Arch is really special. It's amazing how nature has shaped this place into incredible collection of arches of all shapes and colors. It was very hot even though October had already begun, when in Europe we already have autumn temperatures.
Never been to arches National park... I rarely go to places that draw lost of people... Sad but I like my solitude but I do miss out on many places because of it.
