@@rhymu I'm a little embarrassed about the state of things right now, I can't get a recognized USB device on any computer other than a windows 10 system! I just have a severe lack of knowledge which has stalled me out but I'll share some of the good stuff soon.
On all my tests I select "long quote" which has punctuation and capital letters. I also do all my programming on the keyboard I built. So I know it's definitely doable. But to each their own I guess.
I wish I could but one of the conditions of my current job is that I'm not to participate in open source without explicit permission, that requires an extensive approval process. So no code uploads from me for a while, although my GitHub still exists, it's basically frozen. Sorry!
