Here's my interpretation of the song. She's talking about how she likes the guy but is scared he won't like her so she tries to be the kind of girl she thinks he'll like. The part in the beginning she says she practices in the mirrow to look innocent and vulnerable because she doesn't want to look like she tried too hard. She flips that over completely during her rap though and shows her bold and direct side but then goes back to trying to be something she's not.
After leaving JYP a lot of people doubted her decision signing with the blacklabel but looks like somi is owning this vibe and she looks so happy with it which makes us more happy🤧

JEON SOMI a 20 year old Korean/Dutch-Canadian Solo Artist
1. Competed in Sixteen (the group that debuted TWICE) but she was eliminated on the final round because JYP said she was too young. Shes 14 during that time
2. Won 1st place in Produce 101 and debuted as IOI’s Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer, , Center, Maknae (Youngest)and Face Of The Group at the age of 15.
3. After IOI’s contract ended, she participated in SSD2, debuting in the group UNNIES with 2NE1’s Minzy and other queens.
4. She also participated in IDOT afterwards and debuted in project group GIRLS NEXT DOOR with Seulgi of Red Velvet, Moonbyul of MAMAMOO ,Yooa OhMyGìrl and other queens.
5. After GIRLS NEXT DOOR and UNNIES promotions ended, she went back to JYP to train as ITZY’s center 🤷♀️.
She also did tons of CFs and won CF of the Year in korea and even worked with Calvin Klein alongside GOT7’s Jackson and Jinyoung. She also MCed in The Show with X1/UP10TION’s Wooshin/Wooseok
7. Back in 2018 she left JYP because she wanted to pursue a songwriting/music production career. She was then signed under (YG )THEBLACKLABEL as a solo artist and now a song writer too.

I think what she meant about the 'having a small appetite' part and 'being scared of bugs' part was playing into the (bad) stereotypes that guys don't like girls who eat a lot or that guys have to 'protect' girls from things like bugs and she's acting like that kind of girl in front of him maybe OR NOT because her rap is like "no, I ain't got time for that" so she doesn't want to be seen as someone like that because the actual visuals in the MV are opposite to what she says in those parts

y'all interpretation can be right too coz during what you waiting for somi also confirmed there's a metaphor in it and the song can be taken in two POV so yeah the interpretation for this song that she's like going cray cray over the man over the man but as she said she's ahead and won't let her self chase him but at the same time it could be just metaphor lyrics can be also interpreted as "this is what y'all want me to be right?'
