I’ve been a homemaker for 29 years and homeschooled for 25. This past year my nest emptied as the last child left home for adulthood. In this last year, I’ve grown lazy in my home making snd ESPECIALLY in the area of cooking for my husband. I found your channel tonight was instantly convicted by the Holy Spirit through your words. I removed myself from the sofa and from scrolling on my phone. I listened to 7 of your videos & in that
time, I cleaned & reset my kitchen, swept, mopped, cleaned out trash cans, wiped down all cabinets and baseboards. Truly my kitchen hasn’t been this tended to in years. Thank you young momma for your ageless wisdom. My home & heart are so at peace now as I have reset my heart towards my homemaking!!!!

This one is for me. My go to with the slightest frustration is vulgarity. I yell too much. I use my words to hurt. Lord, forgive me. Lord, help me use the power of my tongue to uplift and not to harm.
I, too, am quick to speak harshly. You responded to this video six months ago. My prayer is that you have found some healing and growth during this time. I will pray for you, as I will for myself that we both will grow more like Christ in this area. God bless you and your family.

I feel so convicted. We must speak truth to people. But we are to speak it in love. Wow. Key words speak it in love 😣 that’s hard. I have NOT been praying for this. As I wrongly think, it’s my own choice to be so rude sometimes and so so sarcastic and short. God can’t help me. AND WHAT A LIE THAT IS! God will help me. HE LOVES ME. AND YOU. This video hit me so hard today. I am an ER nurse and often come home short tempered with a sharp tongue. I am working hard to stop and think before I speak so as not to hurt my husband or my children. Thank you for this message today.

I absolutely needed this today. I've made progress with stopping swear words, but I often dismiss crude joking because it's "joking" when in reality it is harmful. Biggest challenge for me because I love joking and having a good time with others, but God's standard is supreme and final. This helped me to address this and say a prayer to the Lord. Thank you

This morning I was so frustrated and I was very upset with my husband because of unspoken expectations. I snapped on him and my son. As soon as I sat down to take a break and saw this video I was instantly convicted. Thank you for this video ❤
I feel like this is a common struggle for women especially. We can get way too comfortable saying the first thing that comes into our minds.
We are starting Monday, and our days are already so busy. I've been canning like crazy, and someday I'm all day in the kitchen.

I have four children at home aged 6, 18, 19 & 21 and I am perimenopausal so really struggling with mood highs and lows. This is something I am working super hard on, it's a 10x-a-day prayer kind of thing because these hormonal swings are overwhelming at times and seriously messing with my personality ..
I want to say this….controlling your tongue does not mean not speaking up when things are wrong or for those who cannot speak up for themselves….it does not mean to allow things to continue that hurt you for your sake of holding your tongue….I just watched that documentary SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE…and I felt sorry for Jill Duggar as she kept her mouth shut to a good Christian …..never stay silent when you or someone is being hurt…and when it comes to disrespect…choose your battles

This seems the word of the day. Two pastors I watched on this Sunday was about your words. One was about Simon who had a name change to Peter by Jesus when he was asked to come and walk on the water. The other pastor talked about do not curse your body by speaking sickness and telling that your home is a no fly zone by what you watch and what you should say or do. This is a struggle for me because of toxic co workers that I work with. I am praying that God gives me people I should be surrounded with and a new job. He knows mine and your desires/needs.

The old saying think before you speak. We are all guilty of wrong speaking, of saying words we regret saying. I'm so thankful God forgives and gives us chances to make things right. Another timely blessing, Tabitha! I just watched while I did my dishes. I am about to get ready for work and head out the door, but I will be watching a second time on my lunch break. I DO have issues with control (which stems from anxiety in addition to personality) and I do often speak in an unkind tone and manner.

I am so thankful for your channel and your walk with the Lord. I have cried listening to your seasoning of sweetness with the Lord, as I was once like you. my load got heavier after a continued disappointing marriage after 2 years, now 20 years later. and adopted children that have added great blessings, but troubles as well that seem to be destructive to gaining any ground to a level of expected peace but rather around the same dysfunctional mountain.
I am praying for my own settling in spirit and connection to SELF and my reach for the Lord. Music seems to unlock my heart that seems sheltered in a hidden cage, but it doesn’t seem enough...I want to be ME reaching for HIM open and free. PLease pray for those of us who are in situations with our families that dont allow freedom of heart to grow and breath but rather be more like survival mode daily in many ways.

Love this, just last week. I know I did not control my tongue, I repent even though I did not say anything so bad just correcting someone, but she's the one who gets offended, she's also the one who started speaking not good. I ask forgiveness but she just ignored me and saw my messages. I believe God protecting me from those people who are not really into him.
