For the last 7 years and for the benefit of subscribers and the community “My Africa” search for sequences that are newsworthy, interesting, funny etc. From a, sometimes long and boring, Parliament sitting allowing the community the opportunity to choose which sequence they find interesting and want to watch.
As a result “My Africa” adds significant value to those effected by the exceptionally high cost of Data and Pay TV.
Also “My Africa” allows the community to comment and contribute to discussions in a meaningful manner and take stories forward.

What makes it the best? why do they act like they got Peter Pan Syndrome.
Public schools do not have enough non curriculum activities. While private schools make sport and art compulsory. Not everyone is good enough to be a graduate, yet we force everyone to go to school. What about kids who are good at soccer and not good with maths? Why don't we give them attention too? These kids drop out of school because school only focuses on education. We have to understand we are diverse, have different skills, learning capabilities etc. Implement non curriculum activities, encourage kids to play sport success comes in many different shapes and forms.
Ndlozi talking about social workers, most of those social workers don't even love their jobs how are you going to make sure they do their jobs with passion? The so called teachers only want paychecks they don't care about school kids. I had a teacher who never came to class only gave assignments and collect them after months. How do you expect kids to stay in school with such teachers around? And we don't choose our parents, hence as Mr President said we are responsible for every child cause it does take a village.
And if you are graduate or a successful person from a poor community with drop outs please do something start a youth program, cause we need each, we have to stop the cycle of poverty in our communities.

Zibalule Mdeni I am actually shocked by the level of maturity and broad mindedness of our president, this is the first time ever I’ve seen political affiliations put aside and the countries problem being looked from a broader point of view. That is the best way to confront our problems
I thought his response was not at all solution based. It was the right thing to say at the right time ito agreeing in some sense with Dr Ndlozi. Saying it's the parents responsibility, but how can the president be so disconnected to what really goes on in places like Hanover Park. The problem of families being broken up is rife in areas like that.

Don't tell us what parents or people should be doing or need to be doing... tell us what are YOU doing as president and lead the way with the role and impact ur rulling party is offering/bringing....

We have to encourage them to go to school... We shouldn't leave the matter to the government only. "Charity begins at home. " We need to be committed in bringing up our children as parents ...

Non- hackable phone??? I need 20 of those phones! If criminalization makes the gvt and private owners money, then like here in America, they will continue to criminalize children. We are the only country that yearly increases Dept. of Justice funds and decrease the rehabilitation funds. Other countries have did the opposite and seen the prison, crime and rehab populations drop. It works if energy and finances is put in the right place. Parental and family responsibility is Primary but children often behave in ways they were not raised to also.

The problem we must admit is that the implementation of children's rights brought us as the country to the point we are. If u skip parents and go to teach kids about their rights in absence of parents, that leads to children disrespecting parents using those rights. That government must implement legislatures that will restore parents dignity and teach them to kids the way they taught them about their rights
