I recieved mine last week and this thing is so heavy and well built!! I no longer need my “the seating dies” but I cannot take them out of my zero and make it look like it’s missing something. All SAC setup for me and will continue buying your products!
Got my die yesterday. This video wasnt up when i headed to the reloading room. Everything is pretty easy to figure out. I am very glad that the o-rings can be removed. Will make it easier to feel the set up.
@@ShortActionCustoms I just saw your die also does XC cases which I didn’t realize. Would love to see some support for the cheytac/snipetac cases, but I understand the demand might not be there to make sense for producing a whole new design for them.
@@ShortActionCustomsif you make one capable of seating 50bmg, you’d then cover any 50 derivative, 408/375, etc. it would cover all the popular ELR cartridges and future proof it for something like 10x100 BWA that may increase 50 cal uses in ELR matches.
@@ShortActionCustomsspecifically, i have a 338-408 cheytac wildcat. rather than have a custom die made it would nice if there was a larger version of this made to support the larger cheytac plus sized cartridges.
Is this repeatable when changing from one cartridge to the next? You talk about getting the internal thread stop "almost flush," and rezeroing the micrometer, and making multiple turns of the micrometer. Would I be able to go from 6.5 Grendel to .308 Winchester, for example, by just swapping parts and dialing the micrometer to a recorded setting without the trial and error process of seating a bullet, measuring and making corrections to the micrometer every time I change cartridges?
How do we know which bullet seating stems to use? Received my die today and I see 6 stems labeled APS-Small 1 & 2, M1/2/3/4. Any guidance or rule of thumb here? For example...7mm VLD typically use___ or 308 use ___? Thanks for another quality product.
Stems are really chosen by a trial and error process. You want to test your bullets in the stems so they do not bottom out in the stem and the ogive contacts the stem good. Your bullet would probably use the M2 stem.
@@ShortActionCustoms, Hi, please 🙏tell me what BULLET SEATING STEMS to use for 6.5 crd with hornady 140 eldm bullet? In the video you are using M1 but the official website recommends using small 2 or M2. Thanks in advance 😊
Mark just keeps bringing this excellently designed & manufactured gear.

Thanks for the feedback!

What cartrdiges would you be looking for?

Good job man and you did great. But Mark is the man for this kind of review!
Got the die and its sick!
Please do one for ELR like 300NM.
Hi,
Our Type 9 Infinity APS die will work for the 300 Norma Magnum.

Disappointing that this wasn't addressed properly, I was wondering the exact same thing.

The description on the web site has what stem goes best with what cartridges
