No. Hammer was a more serious wrestler and RnB was a cartoon. Maybe if Hammer put more effort into it, they could have been more serious in the ring. And working with the Bushwackers didn't help. The Road Warriors upset the WWF tag team scene in a bad way. One, I see them as an NWA team and don't think they would have been as bug in the WWF as Vince thought. Two, maybe 87 would have been the right time to bring in the Road Warriors. But by 89-90, there was Demolition (coming to an end of their run), Hart Foundation, Rockers, RnB, Reaugeaus, Brain Busters (who I think had left the WWF anyway), Powers of Pain. The WWF didn't need the Road Warriors at this point, the tag teams were doing fine. IDK how much changes in the tag team scene were directly caused by the Road Warriors. Brain Busters left the WWF on their own. Powers of Pain split up into midcard boring singles wrestlers. Demolition's run had come to an end. Hart Foundation split up. Rockers split up. No disrespect intended, but as a spectacle, and physically there is no way, Honky, and even with a legit tough wrestler like Valentine could compete with two 6'-6" 320 pounders like the Animal and Hawk. You can pay your dues, and be a reliable worker, but when something undeniable comes along.
Nothing about Valentine ever stood out to me in any matches. He might have been a good worker but so are jobbers. There's a reason you never saw The Hammer in any video games back in those days despite his longevity.
ifitscool - Powers of Pain were pretty dead by the time of R&B. I started watching wrestling just after they separated. Demolition (especially Ax) were on their way out or down and mainly did the LOD feud.
I always hated the road warriors/lod. They were a tag team everyone kissed their asses wherever they went. They basically put an end to my favorite all time tag team in demolition because they couldn't stand competition. Demolition got jobbed out and they turned demolition into heels to get fans away from them to clear the path for the road warriors to be the favorites.
They missed out on great matches road warriors trying to get the belts from honkey n the hammer would've been great and you have them keep cheating to hold the belts until WrestleMania then the warriors win the belts then you have them rematch the warriors all over the country.

Chest Pec Respect
I'm. Metal head, but u goth it show someting
Gregg didn't like coloring his hair.
Honky Tonk Man was cool af. He was terrible at the Elvis thing but it worked for him so well. It was his personality more than anything. Just a happy fun guy. And he could put on the nasty too. One of a kind.
Who is this guy? He seems kind of cool, cocky, and bad.
No disrespect intended,
but as a spectacle, and physically
there is no way, Honky,
and even with a legit tough wrestler like Valentine could compete
with two 6'-6" 320 pounders like the Animal and Hawk.
You can pay your dues, and be a reliable worker, but when something undeniable comes along.
Yeah, I remember Sean Michaels and Marty Jannetti wrestling Legion of Doom. Pretty hard to suspend your belief with a match like that.
Figure 4 LegLock
Nothing about Valentine ever stood out to me in any matches. He might have been a good worker but so are jobbers. There's a reason you never saw The Hammer in any video games back in those days despite his longevity.
Greg the Lesbian Valentine
Some of the most mediocre talents make the best shoot interviews! Keep it coming.
R&B was wack af. They were doper before that gimmick.
If Greg put more into you guys could made a good run against the road warriors, demolition and the powers of pain?!
BHAHahabajajajajaj... Derp.
ifitscool - Powers of Pain were pretty dead by the time of R&B.
That was 4 1/2 min. ofmy life wasted. Check, please!!
They missed out on great matches road warriors trying to get the belts from honkey n the hammer would've been great and you have them keep cheating to hold the belts until WrestleMania then the warriors win the belts then you have them rematch the warriors all over the country.
