A simple fix contained within a hidden menu in FOOOCUS. Now you can upscale and retain likeness. 0:00 Upscale Images And Prevent The Face From Changing
when I use 0.1 or 0.01, my image gets very soft after Upscale 2x. But I want to enhance the picture, mostly because the eyes are not perfect or the face in general. How can I deactivate the De-noise, but remain the Detail Enhancement?
Brilliant ! EDIT - I just tried it. For some reason it doesn't display the finished photo on the screen like it should, it just writes it to the output folder, and I have to manually retrieve it via Windows Explorer. Which is weird. I don't remember ever having this kind of problem when I was playing around with upscale/enhance/vary before. I tried refreshing the window to reset the settings to default, but it's still the same. I tried changing checkpoints and LoRa's and refiners too. Looking at the Foocus command box window, it says "Image is too large". It's only 1800p. It's obviously NOT too large, because it it wrote the picture to the output folder (!) Weird.
This I unfortunately do not know once an image is generated. Possibly before your image get's generated specify "no blurry background" or as a negative prompt include "blurry background", "dof", "depth of field" as it might prevent blurry backgrounds from generating.

"Upscale (Fast 2x) does the same job. If you want to add more detail, I recommend keeping the minimum denoising strength at least 0.15 to 0.20
Awesome! Thank you for the tip.

Very helpful tip, thanks for keeping it short and on point.
My pleasure! It saved me a couple headaches as it was getting annoying having the face change all the time.

How to avoid blurry background?

@aitechwitht i try everything but still blurry, and mostly foocus focus on face, hands and legs always blurry too
