The landscaping with with koi pond is superb , I liked the first house a little bit better which came in an earlier video because of the z stairs but still that all depends on the personnel preference of an individual, but still this house in a 43 lk budget is a job well done,, minimal and neat..

Such a beautiful home. The architect did a great job especially giving the reasoning behind each design decision. But the presenter should have acknowledged the presence of the parents too.

Problem with this design is too many huge windows might make safety of the house in question particularly the location is in deep outskirts of the City. One should have reduced the number of windows in high ceiling living hall. Courtyards needs to be broad rather than lengthy since it's an area for private leisure. Other interiors are amazing. Anyway there can be shortcomings in any design. There is always scope for improvement. Take my criticism positively❤
We dont think those are shortcomings sir. It all has a purpose. And its just 6.5 cents. I think you didn't get an idea of how much the land extent is to provide broader courtyards.
There must be a lot shortcomings since i am still learning from my each projects. I dont think these are one among them though. I have explained why it is so in the video itself too.

Everything looks aesthetic but the lone disadvantage is the vulnerability of thefts or lesser secure because of too much openings. Even though it is grilled & glass it never gives the security of masonry wall.😄. This has nothing to do with the architect but this is a disadvantage of such designs.

@@anusabin6973 no no what i meant is it is easily noticeable to intruders and easier than breaking masonry. I didn't mean it is unsafe. I meant it is less safer than masonry. But with adequate security provisions in the compound it is fine..👍 I liked this design aesthetically well done.
@@hardikpandya7421 compared to masonry walls yes. But when compared to doors its a No. its 12mm glass. Not breakable that easily.
I loved the house but those lines on the window. The metal bars. They bother me so much. Like it makes the house more heavy. Maybe a unique shaped wooden window grid would have reduced that feeling
But if the owner loves it, Then that's what matters

How do these guys find architects that build houses for 35-40 lakhs? Every architect we consulted give plans (basic ass) that easily crosses 1 cr.

This is only done to attract viewers for video. The costs will only go up. In kerala labour and manpower is very costly, raw materials prices are going higher and higher, and there are numerous unexpected strikes and protests which will delay work and increase costs. Govt. has just recently increased taxes on stone quarries, crushers, jelly stone factories. So these costs will only be passed on to consumers. As you progress in the work you will only find costs increasing and not what these guys say.

It’s not a bad design; few comments from a former home builder from 🇺🇸.
1st; staircase could be a different place or you could have z staircase.
2. Windows next to the staircase and fabric curtains are really out of place.
3rd; any next project please start using wet/dry area in the bathroom. Please make that into your must… on your design proposal. Shower area must divided by curtain or shower doors; you can make shower area sink into the floor by 2 inches, so water won’t travel back into the toilet area.

1.yes there are hundred options to place a staircase. We chose that particular space because of many reasons. I didn't understand your point sir.
2. We have given window at that place so that we get access to the the birds cage. Everything has a purpose
3. We have given wet and dry area seperate with 5cm depth variation. And didn't give curtain / glass seperation as it would make the area feel smaller. Bcs it's just a 240x 150cm toilet 😊.

1. I just said, star case placement little bit out of place. I just mentioned z stairs would give an better looks and made it elegant 👀. The window might be serving a purpose to the owners; but from a design standpoint it didn’t sit well, it was so close to the window. It would help that congestion; if applied curtains which fit inside window casement.
