Big props to Seattle's #80 Steve Largent (6:16). His team throws an interception, then he hustles to clobber the defender running the ball back, and Largent recovers the football!
I think this is by far one of the best 'biggest hits' on youtube. After some of these I had to legitimately pause and gather myself. Gaaawd DAYUM! Subbing!
3:01 my favorite block of this video. Some of them aren't even penalties though. Especially juju on Burrfict it was a tremendous block and for some reason it was a penalty.
Most respect to all the kick returners out there back in the day of the wedge. Takes a special kind of person to get back there 5-10 times a game. Have to be absolutely fearless
I remember watching the hit at 0:15 live. We had a big stereo system hooked up to the TV and you could legit feel the sound of the hit when it happened.
Thanks for not doing replays of the plays. If we want to see it again we can hit rewind for a second. So much better to watch these like this. Thank you!
Aw man, nice video bit a bit to quick cutting it to move on to the next hit. Maybe next time at least show a few slow motion replays of some of the harder hits. Thanks for the video though, it was still sick 😷
The hit on Bush!. Was like his "Soul" left his body on impact, rentered and Stumbled around trying too figure out where he just visited, and how he got Back. Lmao😂
God it’s nice seeing quarterbacks getting hit too. I hate how the rules have changed. You’re playing football you will get hit. As long as it’s not helmet to helmet then it’s all game.
I’ve been watching football for a very long time. I was always under the impression that Sean Taylor’s hit in The Pro Bowl was considered too much. Not dirty, per say, but the Pro Bowl is a game that you normally don’t go full bore. I hadn’t seen the hit in a long time and I gotta say, that hit was justified. Who the fuck does a fake punt on a 4th down, while up a TD, late in the 3rd qtr, during The Pro Bowl?? And then complains about the reaction after. 😂
What about Chuck Bednarik's hog leg, clothesline to Frank Gifford"s Adams apple? Or any one of Dick Buktus" s million plus head-on collisions. If you're going to mention the word history in the title of your video, young man history means the entire history of football. But tell you what you still make a better video than I could ever dream of. Just go back further in time next time. But hey you're still my clean up hitter . That last sentence was a high compliment to your video skills.
I love how largent got harden back. I didn’t like how juju did it as it wasn’t even in the play. And stood over him. And I remember Matt moore came back one play after getting hit by Dupree
You missed the Terrell Davis hit on the San Francisco 49er in the Tokyo bowl, 1995. When he was about ready to quit playing. You also missed the legendary Steve Atwater on Christian Okoye hit.
That block from Juju one of the best ever. No cleaner hit than that one either. Don't know why 1:49 drew a flag. It was a clean hit. Incomplete pass. Move on to the next play.
6:46 My opinion this man Jack Tatum was the hardest hitter in football, he would put people in wheelchairs for the rest of their lives, he was full of rage, he never apologized and never reached out to Darryl Stingley after putting him into a wheelchair for the rest of his life😂. His hits are illegal today, and it's stupid he is not in the NFL HOF. Today, it's 2 hand touch, lol.
Knowing what I know now about Antonio Brown, I don’t feel like that block by Juju was worth it in a lot of ways, but Burfict got what he deserved. Trash hit by a trash guy.
Unpopular opinion probably, but watching Kurt Warner get blasted is soooooo satisfying. There is no less deserving member of the HOF, I still honestly don't know how that bag of crap got in yet Simms and Plunkett can't...but what do I know...
That is arguably the biggest hit in Super Bowl history, if not NFL history. The Stingly hit wasn’t near as brutal, just an accident, Tatum knocked his helmet down the field.
100 clips. It took me days to find/get the clips, and I would appreciate it if you like and subscribe. Comment video ideas
Football Films wooooo 150 subs
This has to be the best collection of hits I've seen
Movie like (climatic) scenes?
Some of those hits were felt by people sitting in the cheap seats!
Respect
Big props to Seattle's #80 Steve Largent (6:16). His team throws an interception, then he hustles to clobber the defender running the ball back, and Largent recovers the football!
YES, and Largent hit the same guy who knocked him out in the prior game - see 3:22
@@Balin93 Lmao that’s the crazy part!! Such a great All Time WR
legendary moment in NFL.
Lol
Bro said lemme gather my thoughts after the reckage
Definitely the best in my opinion
Most respect to all the kick returners out there back in the day of the wedge. Takes a special kind of person to get back there 5-10 times a game. Have to be absolutely fearless
Yeah, but they don't have to get hit. They can either signal for fair catch, or let the ball land where it does and have the offense start from there.
But it is sad how Peyton ruined Austin Collies career.
I was just thinking that when healthy he reminded me of Edelman
Shocked to see no one commented with common sense and stated that the DB is the one who hit him.
Bigger shame to see the actual creator of this video supporting delusion.
@@theYT_moderatorbro shut up you sound like a tattle tailer
He ended his own career 😂
@5:17 the Atwater hit put 3 people down. He knocked himself out, almost knocked out his own team mate and the receiver still left the game.
I love the Falcons kicker laid out the returner and stood over him like "Yeah u thought" greatest thing ever 9:45
That clip was so funny
I remember Manning throwing a couple of hospital passes to Austin Collie. Just nasty how he got hit over the middle.
Love seeing Sean Taylor in there multiple times
Rip to who could have been the greatest safety in the nfl
2:20 dude jumped right back up like it was nothing
5:55 look at Larry man. What a guy checks on the player that just got unloaded on
This man needs more views
5:13 hit him so hard the ball cloned 😭
I remember watching the hit at 0:15 live. We had a big stereo system hooked up to the TV and you could legit feel the sound of the hit when it happened.
Thanks man
Realized I forgot to give a shoutout to you and a few others. Sorry, I’ll do it next video
Easily one the best videos I’ve watched on hitting. Well done.
I love that you have found and included some high school, college, and NFL clips. Nicely done.
Oooooo Football history! Makes it sound more than just a game...it is history!
0:15 The Classic Targeting Pose: Head down parallel to the ground, feet launching, CTE on the way!
Reminds me why I never wanted to play receiver , QB or RB. I loved the line!
that chancellor hit, clean and nasty
Textbook clean hit.
That was a car crash in mid air.
Is VD still alive?
i feel like this is a solid modern list. definitely some big ones missing from 80s and before at least in NFL anyway, but good vid. thx for post
lots of CFL hits in this. Nice!!
This list is highly to perfectly accurate 👍🏾💯
That first clip was all i needed to see 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
Thanks for not doing replays of the plays. If we want to see it again we can hit rewind for a second. So much better to watch these like this. Thank you!
I love that u add some CFL clips
3:10 He was out talking with god and asked if it was ok if he came back. He ask it was fine and removed the hit from his memory.
9:08 sheesh what is that score
lots of big hitters nice video
Nothing like a great hit. 🤯
@5:33
Aw man, nice video bit a bit to quick cutting it to move on to the next hit. Maybe next time at least show a few slow motion replays of some of the harder hits. Thanks for the video though, it was still sick 😷
With some of these hits you can't expect someone to hang onto the ball. Damn
2:30 humans can fly?
nice video
You keep that head up
Sheldon blowing up Reggie has to be number one 😭 Reggie crawled off the field
The hit on Bush!. Was like his "Soul" left his body on impact, rentered and Stumbled around trying too figure out where he just visited, and how he got Back. Lmao😂
Can you do one with Bo Jackson gets blown up or knockout
God it’s nice seeing quarterbacks getting hit too. I hate how the rules have changed. You’re playing football you will get hit. As long as it’s not helmet to helmet then it’s all game.
Dope video...I gotta ask though... did I miss him, or is there NO Ronnie Lott??
Got to comment again (Damn IT) 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯💯
hell yeah come CFL hits
It's amazing how many late/dirty hits you see Shittsburgh Squealer players make
Boy, if you blink you'd miss some of these. Great compilation but way too short of clips.
5:58 when you take your own guy out, you know ur not coming back
Subbing
9:11 79-7? 😭
Somebody please tell me that Steve Largent hit was after the same dude knocked him out earlier. Anybody catch that?
The hit on Darryl Stingley by Jack Tatum (6:47) ended Stingley’s career and left him a quadriplegic for the rest of his life
5:34 this twitch the receiver does chilled me . Hope he was ok.
Lmao the guy on the sideline at 9:10

He Got Smashed !!!!!
daryl dawkins and ronnie lott 2 of my favorate defensive backs..heavy hitters

High School football is just like actual football... in slow motion.
1:16 “WHAT A NAIL!!!”
🤯👀
0:18 FYI that’s Jadeveon Clowney in college
Damn, these are harder to watch than i anticipated.
Finally! Darell Reid's hit on Chris Henry is recognized.
Now that I know what the fencing reflex is I can't unsee it ...
You missed the Terrell Davis hit on the San Francisco 49er in the Tokyo bowl, 1995. When he was about ready to quit playing.
You also missed the legendary Steve Atwater on Christian Okoye hit.
0:00 best intro
That block from Juju one of the best ever. No cleaner hit than that one either.
Don't know why 1:49 drew a flag. It was a clean hit. Incomplete pass. Move on to the next play.
Damn, almost every hit I see on this video I'm like "DAMN"!
7:15 just reminds me of bill burr
Damn hit my boy bush damn it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Y is the Reggie bush hit the first one. My boy was never the same after that
6:46 My opinion this man Jack Tatum was the hardest hitter in football, he would put people in wheelchairs for the rest of their lives, he was full of rage, he never apologized and never reached out to Darryl Stingley after putting him into a wheelchair for the rest of his life😂. That Michigan Vs Penn State 1997 hit needs to be up here
Seriously guys?! You ignored Hines Wards block hit on Ed Reed?! Really?! He leveled him horizontally! C'mon! Damn...
What video is 3:23 from anyone?
Is anyone gonna talk about at 2:06 the score is 1-18????
I’m sooo glad that they showed Steve largent’s revenge
How about “movie like (climatic) scenes”?
Holy shit 😳
Matthew 5:6
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
He's done Ref threw His Hat on Em...
I was thinking the same thing 😂
If you go to 3:15 seconds look at number 8
One that was missed was a CFL clip where Matt O'Donnell [EDM] sent Diamond Ferri [SSK] to the shadow realm. Just damn.
4:43
He hit him like he was running with a football!!…Oh wait he was, Yea get him!!
Today, the league is one step away from turning into flag football. It's pathetic that they won't let men be men
I don't know... someone almost died on the field last season.
Knowing what I know now about Antonio Brown, I don’t feel like that block by Juju was worth it in a lot of ways, but Burfict got what he deserved. Trash hit by a trash guy.
Now this is football!!!...lf you cant handle getting hit then dont put the pads on...
Unpopular opinion probably, but watching Kurt Warner get blasted is soooooo satisfying. There is no less deserving member of the HOF, I still honestly don't know how that bag of crap got in yet Simms and Plunkett can't...but what do I know...
These players should be on CTE watch
I’ve noticed something, whenever drew brees throws out of the backfield someone always dies 😭😭😭
My dream has to play in the nfl but after watching this, let’s try another sport
I dont have any ideas, im just commenting to help the algorithm
Not a single Roy Williams highlight, I call a foul!
Peyton " if he dies, he dies" Manning
How is Tatum’s hit on Sammy White in Super Bowl XI not on here?
That is arguably the biggest hit in Super Bowl history, if not NFL history. The Stingly hit wasn’t near as brutal, just an accident, Tatum knocked his helmet down the field.
Who ever put this together
Manning: pass down the middle
Collie: ha ha, I’m in danger
Respect to the guys who pop back up after that. Oi....
