I think the 2013 Championship is very significant for LeBron, almost on par with the 2016 chip. If Ray Allen doesn't hit that 3 and TimmyD went 6-0, you'd have to put Duncan over Lebron on the GOAT list because not only # of rings (6>3), Duncan will be seen as LeBron's Kryptonite since he would've won all 3 meetings in the final
Not to discredit, but lebron helped them get into a situation where it was close, plus ray allen was scoreless in game 7. Ik that is ray didnt hit that shot then his legacy will be kinda ruined but lebron showed up way more than ray allen. I agree with ur Tim Duncan > Lebron if they dont win those finals though

Lebron would gain the most and lose the most in this scenario. 10-0 with at least 9 finals mvps (wade was better in the finals in 2011) makes him the undisputed GOAT while losing his 2016 ring or 1 for 4 with Miami drops him probably out of the top 5

But no other player has been compared to Michael Jordan as harshly as LeBron James throughout his career.
It is because of his actions when u come to the league and write chosen one at ur back and declare u are the greatest which even mj doesn’t do then such comparision is going to come from the media harsely.

Let, me break it down. Jerry west wins 10 rings I don't know if that makes him the goat. But, one thing for sure. Is, that he would probably be the best point guard ever. Bill russell, only gets 4 rings. While, he would still be a top 10 center of all time. He, wouldn't be as big of an icon. He, dosent get his wouldn't have the finals MVP named after him. Which, would likely be Jerry West. Likely, wouldn't have gotten his Jersey retired after his death. Also, the celtics wouldn't have had there dynasty. Would, not be the historical franchise they ate today. Also, Wilt would end up with 5 rings, would be in the debate for the greatest center of all-time. There, you have it. What do you think

Jerry west going undefeated in the finals would rocket him from his current top 25ish all time status to probably top 5 so I think he'd have the most to gain at least out of anyone with at least 1 ring.
I think a few greats that would've benefitted tremendously with a perfect finals record is Wes Unseld, Dennis Johnson and most importantly, Dr. J and Wilt.
Jerry West too, he would've had 9 rings, taking away most of Bill Russell's while putting up insane stats the whole time
The thing about this is, if LeBron in Miami won 4 straight, do you think he would go back to Cleveland or stay in Miami to try and win more? It really felt he ditched the Heat because he thought their window closed due to Wade's injuries & decline.

It's not even a question.....in these hypothetical situations, clearly, LeBron would benefit the most. 10-0 with an 8peat, and most likely 8-10 finals MVPS....that scenario would make him the undisputed GOAT of basketball, and possibly of professional American sports....10-0 NBA champ vs 7-3 Tom Brady, vs 7 WS titles for Babe Ruth, Wayne Gretzky with 4 Stanley Cups.....a case could be made
Kareem: 71 AND 74 with the Bucks on top of the 8 he had with Magic, unless, against all odds, he came back to play in 1991 as well.

Russel's rings are such a hard debate because he played when there were only 8 teams in the league. If you were on the best team, you didn't have to fight through quality competition to get to the finals, and even in the finals, you might not be playing a team that's all that great.
He is a great, for sure, but he is absolutely the poster of "Rings don't mean everything," and why he's constantly out of top-10 all-time debates.
