I think you're missing the point on the talking part of the app. The app keeps the scammer busy so they 1) aren't calling someone else, b) the profitability of scammers is reduced. It costs money to call overseas and keep people on the line.
For me still, the most effective way to handle unwanted calls is to simply reject EVERY UNIDENTIFIED CALL you don’t recognize. If they’re legitimate they’ll leave a message.
The update now accesses your microphone and all your personal information. Callers can’t leave a message because the app has hijacked ALL your calls. Customer support is non existent

You bring up some very good points. I worked for a credit card company and unfortunately some of the scripts from these apps are compatible with authorizing access and changes to your credit account. Not to mention a simple yes from the app in response to “would like to cease and desist this credit account?” Will mean that you are no longer eligible for fee waivers or assistance. Your account can also end up flagged as fraud if the wrong thing is said by the prank app.
Never set up voicemail and never speak to them. Idk how long the option's been available, but some phones will reject calls and texts outside of your contacts. If you pay your bills you can set up voicemail so you don't have to fear missing out on a legitimate call. The rejected call can still leave a message and can be checked at your convenience. Won't cost a penny.

I'm considering using the robokiller app as I get at least 4 spam texts and calls per day and time is money so to me $30 a year would be easily worth the time and stress savings not having to read or listen to VMs from spammers. Money well spent, sometimes I get spam calls one every 15 minutes annoying text too I subscribe to RoboKiller two weeks ago and have received zero spam calls I checked and it is blocking like 25 calls a day no more calls on saving me money on Medicare, my vehicle warranty has expired, solar panels at no cost , buying my house, refinance my house and on and on lol they all disappeared and I love it.
I saw this commercial again for the first time today in years. Last time i heard of this app was back when scam callers became such an issue that even the News was reporting on it. Then things like this came out shortly after and disappeared short after lol
Trying to follow your thinking here. If it blocks 5 calls per day, and each call lasts 15 seconds, That’s roughly 7 1/2 hours per year that it would save you. You really don’t feel that 7 1/2 hours of your time is worth $30? Not trying to call you out or anything just trying to understand your logic.
i cannot get a actual english speaking person on the phone with straight talk, but i'm currently seeking a way to make all callers have to press 5 (yes 5) to be connected to my phone. So any caller who does not press 5, will never bet connected and my phone simply will not ring. There has to be a way, or an app to do this.
A lot of scam calls actually do have real people on the end like all the social security and you owe money and will be arrested. Get them all the time and they leave messages.
How do you permanently delete the robokiller app from your phone. Deleted app but robokiller is still blocking calls. And some calls are callers in my phones contracts

At the time I was on the job market so I was getting alot of calls and was told a few times that "something weird" was happening with my number. Had to play it off like I didnt know..LOL. Its quite hilarious though

Wrong! It's not always an automated call & the pranking keeps them from annoying others people & even when automated calls the program is busy with your prank to keep it from moving on. Your video is depressing and not very professional. You're not very informed about this.

MagicJack Call Screening has this feature. My realtor has it and it’s amazing!

This app is a scam.. I have it and they call your phone and fake record it to make you think it's real. It's such a scam!!!
