Thanks for this video series! Looks like you forgot a couple times to take gold when you placed the 3rd die in an attribute. There's so much to keep track of, so it's not surprising.

The better end game move would be to take the gold from the gold die on the second initiative and buy the armor peice at the end
Hi Tom, really enjoy your video playthroughs, thanks for making them! I have a question: out of the Roll Player series of games and the Aeon's End series of games, I was curious which you prefer for solo play and why? (I don't think either are in your top 50 games).
I do love both, it's just a tight squeeze to narrow it down to 50 :) For pure solo I'd go with Roll Player - the solo mode of Aeon's End is quite swingy and without the co-operation between mages it loses something. If I was playing 2 handed solo for Aeon's End I think I'd go for that though, there's so much content for it now and the unique deckbuilding never gets old for me. It depends what kind of mood I'm in too - Roll Player is much quicker to set up & play
@@slickerdrips Thanks, great to hear your thoughts on them. I've never played Roll Player but was interested in it because Aeon's End takes quite a while to set up (and sometimes play). I do love the gameplay though, and there is just so much content in it (which can contribute to the longer set up!). Still undecided on Roll Player but definitely near the top of my whislist..
This is basically a puzzle/dice game. I wish it wasn’t so expensive though, especially when expansion is “required”.
Yeah I don't see the "RPG" about it. Fun game though.
1. Does the Familiar's board count as part of your character board? (affects Envious trait)
2. I'm pretty sure you're supposed to remove the Diplomacy card during setup for a solo game
1. Yup, I haven’t got them to hand but the rules do say anything that refers to your character sheet also refers to your familiar
2. I’d forgotten about that! The solo rules in F&F don’t mention the Diplomacy card any more, but I’d imagine you should still be taking it out
Tom is right. The Diplomacy card should be removed for a solo game. I have added a note in the Klingon subtitles. Thanks for pointing that out!
From the rules regarding the Familiars board:
"Important! For all gameplay purposes, each player’s Familiar Board is considered to be part of their Character Sheet."

You missed a point for the red/white counting as white. Didn't really impact the result though. I picked up a bag from Annabel... Thanks for the playthroughs!
