    Do you have any content on what character types work well with others. Complimentary characters, if that makes sense

    The humor of British sitcoms, especially the older ones, just don’t cut it for me.

      Fair enough! Each to their own. My point in the video is that it was easy to recognise what a sitcom was and looked like, but now things are little more mixed.

      @@thesituationroom9026 It’s a great video though. I just felt the urge to say that.
      You know what I struggle with? Coming up with cool sitcom settings. I always start off super motivated and convinced of my ideas, but one day later I think it’s just stupid.

      @@erik-sr9bj don't worry about the setting, worry about the characters.
      Sitcom is what the characters find themselves doing. An mechanics basics evening class isn't funny, but it is when you put Frasier and Niles in it.
      A massage therapy session isn't funny, but it is when George Costanza is the one getting the massage.
      Take your favourite sitcom; is it the setting or the characters you find funny? Put those characters into another show with another setting and it would still be funny.
