Its a pretty good program. The free version got me going, but with a layout this size it limited the number of pieces I could use. So ended up buying in. Was well worth it I think.
Thanks for the comment John. I used SCARM this time but since then gave Anyrail a try. Both programs are similar and will provide a breakdown of track pieces needed for the design. Great tools to help you figure it all out and possibly save money by eliminating mistakes. Especially for those of us without lots of experience. Thanks for following along!
I liked the program. It has a free version you can try out, but it limits the pieces of track you can use. So if you working on a large layout you will need the full version. At least with the free version you can try it out to see if you like it. Try this link here www.scarm.info/index.php let me know what you think of it.
Now you own Anyrail Also! Another Great Piece Of Software!
Thanks for the Scarm intro and hopefully it will help you with designing and building your layout.

Thanks for showing how you designed your layout. Everybody does it different. Until next time.

Thanks for commenting. Things will get more exciting as we progress.
Looking forward for the next instalment
Thanks for watching Dad! Another installment is scheduled for next Thursday.
I might need to try Scarm. I normally free hand draw the layout as I tend to switch things up from time to time. It’s neat to see it in 3d though.
