      Its a pretty good program. The free version got me going, but with a layout this size it limited the number of pieces I could use. So ended up buying in. Was well worth it I think.

      Thanks for the comment John. I used SCARM this time but since then gave Anyrail a try. Both programs are similar and will provide a breakdown of track pieces needed for the design. Great tools to help you figure it all out and possibly save money by eliminating mistakes. Especially for those of us without lots of experience. Thanks for following along!

    I might need to try Scarm. I normally free hand draw the layout as I tend to switch things up from time to time. It’s neat to see it in 3d though.

      I liked the program. It has a free version you can try out, but it limits the pieces of track you can use. So if you working on a large layout you will need the full version.
