Vakil Bazaar or Vakil al-Raaya is one of the most famous traditional and historical markets in Iran, which is modeled after the Qaisarieh Lar Bazaar. This market, which was built by the order of Karim Khan Zand, is now located in the center of Shiraz city (east of Shahradari square). Beside the bazaar, there are other places such as the mosque and the historical bath of Vakil. The construction of Bazar Vakil started in 1137 and its development and completion lasted until 1156 and this work was registered as one of the national works of Iran on July 5, 1351 with registration number 924.
