And it would be nice that the presets in Amplitube 5 would be interchangeable with the iPad version, if it were to exist

These days there are no guitarist or musicians who don't play music anymore but have become sales person for Audio equipment manufacturers and musical instruments manufacturers. Open TH-cam you won't find musicians but sales person promoting products. But this buy that, need this need that, this gear that gear, etc. only sales no more music.

yes this is sadly very true, but the music is still out there. Years before it was forums and stuff now it is in video form. The music is still out there though

As a working musician gear is a bottom line issue. I’ve spent a lot of time improving the quality of what I use and that has meant that I have put a focus on discussing cost and time savings. The are actually directly related to creativity.
I’m time poor like most middle age saddos and I’m trying to write and record an album.
Time and quality mean I can get to creating more efficiently and quickly so gear has a role there.
I agree though. The weight of content is commercially driven to gear on here. I try keep a balance

@@1Guug Music is there but not like what it used to be and is but I feel sad for guitarist and musicians who are now reduced to salesperson by the industry. Even audience hardly appreciate their work. Earlier musicians found Social Media to express themselves and promote their music but that too for them went out of hands and many are forced to promote gear. I am not a musician but love to listen to music. Sadly even TH-cam does not promote musical content and are doing a disservice to the musicians.

@@ThomasBrunkard I agree with you on what you say. I am not a musician and I have zero knowledge about music gear. It saddens me that musicians are not getting what is due to them anymore. Even for TH-cam views people are hardly interested in what the musicians play or their talent. Viewers these days are attracted to the gear musicians own and the brand. I don't blame most musicians but the exploitation by what we call market trends.

@@RD.Bharat hmm sorry that you had that experience but it does not seem to be that way for me.
I mean yes things always change and those people want to earn money, it’s harder for us musicians to earn money with records cause nobody buys them, everyone uses Spotify and co. This devaluated music to an immense amount. BUT, there are still so many great musicians out there, look at Cory Wong, dirty loops, scary pockets, they all do TH-cam with fun music oriented content.
It’s really just that there is soooooo much out there and you have to search a bit more but once you down that rabbit hole, man it’s insane how much talent is out there
