    You could just do a cut like in the video but it's better to actually bend the metal to that shape. Because when you cut it there's going to be a pinhole right where the water flow is

      remove the siding pull the nails out of the channel and slip it under the channel then reinstall the siding

    Man, you have good content. I can't believe you don't have more than 1K subscribed. You should just slam up 15 second, no-edit follow-ups to your kitchen table videos when you see something on a job; a "here's that diverted thing I was talking about" video.

    Roofing code does not allow cut seem. This should be removed. You can use a bend over seem that can be found in other videos.

    no point creating a video instructing something when you us your hands to explain a concept. rather use a physical job to show what you mean.
