Ken Jeong hosting the Oscars would be amazing! It makes so much sense all around. The Oscars can show some diversity, and they would get so much buzz about him being the first Asian American host. Plus he's super funny and likeable. He's also smart enough that he could figure out how to stay classy enough for them (he is a physician after all). He would actually take it seriously and commit, so they don't have to worry about him. Plus he would actually do it. Keep talking about it everyone, and maybe it will happen!

As far as I've heard most recently, he's the only one who wants it so the job should be all his. I think he'd be great. Pepper in some special guest appearances from other funny/talented people with other brands of comedy (maybe like Maya Rudolph, Lin Manuel Miranda, aidy Bryant, John Mulaney) and I think it'd be awesome!

I'd watch, love his energy. He did an episode on Kevin's webseries, I found Kevin slightly obnoxious and Ken génial and just silly enough without overdoing it. On that same webseries Tiffany Hadish too, was funnier than Kevin. I say Tiffany or Ken. I love Hasan Minhaj and Trevor Noah, too, and while they're seasoned hosts, I'd love to see more of both Tiffany or Ken. This world needs more of Tiffany and Ken.

Natalie Zayas-Bazan Glad I’m not alone. I found the story corny (like Hallmark Channel corny) and banal, and I was disgusted at the celebration of obscene wealth and materialism. A real wasted opportunity to tell a story from an Asian perspective.
maremacd that wasn’t so much my issue with it because obviously there had to be conflict. In ‘my big fat Greek wedding’ it was that Ian wasn’t Greek. Here it was that she wasn’t rich. It was more the judgement of how she wasn’t rich, that was sad, and in the end it was all a front for how miserable they all really were.
