- as a "new hero" i think this phoveus is amazing
but as a "revamped phoveus" i think he lose his unique role as a counter to dash heroes which is kinda disappointing.

@@mizan_syuk4562 That's because he was meant to be a big counter for Arlott, Nolan, Bene, Paquito and other heroes who blinks a lot and not a lot of players watch Phov pros such as Pheww, Flap, Seilah and Kramm dominating games using Phov. Though I kinda consider him as an "Conditional" tier FLEX pick.
My biggest complaint is that he needs to be untargetable during his ult jump
And he needs his old ult gimmick where every Dash activates it
4:12 for some reason he's not cc immune anymore, he can be pushed by Akai's ult, his ult range is smaller, it sucks soo much.
He's almost like Alucard, he's monster in early game, he can do well against a team of low mobility and non cc heroes, but fall against cc heroes and high mobility.

Well removing his shield, converting him to physical damage and removing the ult activation and cd reduction when enemies uses dash or blink is a massive downgrade. Phoveus is certainly known as the Nemesis of characters who dashes and blinks alot plus his ult feels so satisfying to watch especially if you use it continuously. So yeah removing the shield, shortening the ult range as well as removing the opportunities to trigger his ult will definitely make players really really unsatisfied with this changes

it's not only his design, but changing his damage from Magic to Physical is actually the biggest issues with this revamp, let alone countering a dash heroes, his physical damage will limit his ability to counter MM that use Wind of Nature.

The thing about Phoveus’s Design is that he has deep lore extending from the Abyss. Astaros is not just your average ball and chain, it’s an Abyssal demon.
Pre-Revamp Phoveus design can work since Astaros can pull the strings for him. But this Phoveus just… Meh.
Also, Phoveus should have a sense of Anti-Dash or making his kit relying on dashing enemies but providing more utility on himself. With Teammates unable to activate Phoveus’s passive, this is a full-on downgrade.
It would be cool if his skills decrease CD whenever the enemy dashes

When enemy dashes, he will have a CDR effect and when the his allies displace the enemies, he can use his Ult but weaker damage
The New Phoveus just defeated its own purpose, counter dash heroes but cannot even chase him due to the short distance of the Ult and crappy new passive where you have to chase them. He would have been useful if he had that same mechanic but with the new skills 1 & 2. Not to mention he lost the shield for its protection when blinking at a distance and the CC immunity during ult, he dies before he can hit the damage bcoz of the slow backswing

Yeah that's the worse part, I can't even compare this new phoveus with arlot they may have similar mechanic but arlot have more synergy combo with his teammates while new phoveus only on his own, not to mention his immunity to reach on enemy is sucks while arlot have an easier way
So budget Arlott? They just needed another skill to force a dash to make him a little usable because allocating flameshot for that purpose is crazy. Players shouldn't fix a design flaw with a battle spell.
Either give him a way out after ulting in or just change the OG server 1st skill to the Adv server one.
Why is he unpopular? Phoveus ult is like a Silvanna, you better sure you can fight your way out after jumping in. They dont have reliable escape tools unlike YZ and Lapu. If they want to remove that weakness, make it so that he can get out after a dive.
If they want to keep him as a dive all or nothing hero, give him more ways to displace or force a dash. Both of Arlott's skills stun to help with his 2nd. Why cant Phoveus have two displacement? Take advance server 1st to OG server.
He already has a weird and enemy draft dependent gimmick. Why not help him out by allowing him to activate his skilll on his own?
The reason why phoveus is made is to counter those pesky dash using assassins. The old phoveus is fun to use unlike the revamp
They removed everything that makes phoveus unique just for this trash. This are list they removed to him
1. The explosion of his first skill is good on clearing minion waves and adds damage to enemies when they're closed together.
2. The shield on his 1st skill that also good for him in team fights for his survivability since he doesn't have blink skill(except on his ultimate)
3. That crowd control immunity on his ultimate are gone, as you can see in video akai can still push him back even in mid air.
4. The range of his ultimate, on this revamped phoveus the range of his ultimate is also the same range on his passive, meanwhile the old ones can spot everything that dash even if your in the bushes.
5. And lastly, that makes phoveus unique is his role "anti-dash" or the chase hero for those with unlimited dash hero such as wanwan Lancelot, nolan and harith, yeah sure minsitar still have anti-dash but it's only on a small circle but phoveus can reach out enemy backline that has dash.

He never had immunity in the first place,when you jump your hitbox also jump which reset turret+cc, thus practically creating pseudo immunity
Moneyton ruined another unique hero once again. First was vale and now we got phoveus ruined. They really should have just reduced the cd and the foreswing animations of his og version, it's such a simple adjustment that would actually fix him for the meta but now they just made another generic playstyle of a hero. Moneyton never fails to make complicated solutions for very simple problems
Phoveus' Identity was very clear when he was introduced in the game. To punish dash heroes, with the new phoveus, he's just a guy carrying a tower on a chain
I love phoveous but.... Damn this revamp I'm disappointed i tired to forced myself by thinking he's ok but I can't. The Shield he gets from his ult and first was super good for survivability especially in team fight

A lot of heroes relies on dash and flicker and they remove his potential to actually counter them

I wish they gave him back his passive, countering dash heroes was his whole identity, sure he looks fun but feels like a new hero more than a revamped one
The fact they made him physical is just weird as well as the shield removal he can’t stay pretty much in a fight and he would just be an ordinary fighter like anybody else.
Let him benefit from his team's diplacement effect too like Guinevere that benefits too her allies' airborne effect
Or weaker Ult when there is only 1 enemy hit by his Ult but less penalty when hitting multiple enemies and for every Displacement effect he landed to enemies, he can use his Ult 2 times and stackable
And maybe a longer range for his 1st skill would be good, either longer range on the 1st phase for easier hit and slowing the enemies or longer range on the 2nd phase of his 1st skill to apply the pulling effect easier on backlines
If he gets released like this, his popularity will probably only drop even more: he's no longer a pick to counter dash heroes, he's just a generic fighter, and there are frankly better figther options than this.
I mean, compare even just Arlott's "any CC from any source" to this Phoveus' "own displacement CC only"...

They probably should make a poll, to see what people think of new phoveus in advance server. If there isnt already. But there should be also for many other heroes and things.
Its either they keep his changes just buff the ult or just stick with the old one but just make him physical instead of magic and remove the mana
My impression:
Less damage
Less range
Less dash punish
Slow ability speed
No (instant) burst
No sustain
No escape
He basically loses to all hero’s that has high mobility (which is pretty sad) or high sustain
My idea for his buff rn is:
Increase ult range by 1 unit
Make his ult a lil bit faster and make the cc immune longer
Make his 2nd skill cast a lil bit faster/make his 2nd skill can be used while walking
An addition to his passive is "every cc done by team reduce his passive cd by 0,5 second and every dash enemy does reduce the cd by 0,25 second"
Honestly if they can just combine his old ult trigger mechanic to his revamp then I think he's gonna be at least similar to his old version but more viable
This phoveus is more viable of course the ult is not as good tho.
I recommend those Adjustments:
When his first skill got in the second phase. Its cooldown will reset instead of getting lowered
If an enemy dashed. His first and second skill cooldown will be lowered by 0.5 seconds.
Second skill now has a wider area with 30 more points of damage.
Hitting an enemy with the second phase of his first skill will now also lower his second skill cooldown by 2 seconds.
New: Ultimate now stuns enemies for 0.3 seconds,
New: his Ultimate now slows the enemy by 10%, the slow gets increased everytime he casts the skill,up to 60%, for 1.2 seconds.
New: first second second phase now deals more damage by 50 points.
His passive now lowers the enemy defense by 15~25 points.
New: the speed he gets from his passive will make him immune to slow effects by 1.5 seconds, as well as 0.5 seconds from stuns.
Ultimate damage increased by 30 points.
1st skill 2nd phase has cd,
the removal of the shockwave when hitting the enemies,
The removal of movement speed,
no shield,
Smaller ult range,
and they also turned his damage to physical.
That are the reasons.
I like phoveus more in magic damage since the new clock of destiny paired with thunder belt you can go do whatever the hrll you want
I prefer magic damage since it allows him to bypass wind if nature not to mention that they can improve old phoveus by adding the basic attack passive from the new one. Limiting the requirements for triggering ult is also a nerf making him a solo hero rather than a team player or disruptor. Truly such a sad news
Old Belerick had an unique model and unique kit. Now, after a slight nerf, nobody really uses him anymore.
This new Phoveus will be the same.
He just needed a small buff on his OG skills.
Not a cheap ass edgy-everyday revamp...
Just put a immobilization+pull combo on his old second skill and he could have been good enough.
You didn't need to work your ass off to put him in the meta, a simple-small buff would've made him become one of the best anti dash hero.
Would like to see his:
- magic damage back
- the blink mark for his ult
- shield
to balance it of, give him lesser damage
And better design
and remove the 1st phase of his 1st skill

My main problem is that with the short cc immunity, and no shielding, now he's just every other burst fighter that gets done in by sustain, or burst. He's lost his identity...
Bring back his old ult where you can activate it when an enemy blink, then put some cd on. I think that will do it
What i want to buff him is his 1st skill second phase the displacement activation for me it takes too long to activate it hence making his combo less efficient and his ult range i would like to extend it for more reach right now youre basically a sitting duck against long range mm and make him into a hybrid type, build physical and it converts to magical damage Just like old

They removed the unlimited Trigger on his passive and changed it to speed boost and max hp displacemnet, and what's worse is that its 16 seconds on early game meant you can only do 4 ults if properly done, I just wished they made his ult go back to its requirements Still needs to be cc'd by him because his ult has no cd, But his team and spells should also apply a mark for his ult
Moonton is always like doing unnecesary experimence, The "only" problem that phoveus is his ult that charge very slow and it can't hit the dash hero easily. Moonton can just fix it with giving phoveus damage on ult before he jump, or he can jump a bit faster and lower his damage, or jump slower but no matter what the enemy dash they still got the damage that stack on how much their dash is. I mean all of that seem kinda OP but they can just nerf his ult radius activation or cd
He supposed to counter dash heroes but now dash heroes counter him. This is a whole new Hero. He's gonna lasts like 1 week only if this is what he is. The delays, cooldown and range on his skills open so much ways for enemy to escape.
Lol He couldn’t even counter dash heroes properly, they needed a way to make him actually function in alignment with his skills otherwise he’s a walking stick if enemies don’t dash.

I think he needs two changes:
1. His ult should be triggered whenever the enemy is displaced, just like Arlott.
2. His passive sucks. It shouldn't have that ridiculous condition, abd enemy dashes or blinks should make its cooldown shorter.

Phoveus retrospective : From edgy Hercules with a spiky meatball that used to bonk dash heroes to Kingdom come to edgy emo version of Arlott
I think the main problem with new Phoevous is he is no longer Anti dash hero anymore. He heavily relies on his skills and passive which has delays and small range but it's obviously the weakpoint in the late game . Since he is now physical hero, marksman can easily counter with WON . Another big problem is ultimate can now be applied only with his own cc skills so his preys like WanWan and Ling before can easily be nightmare again for him. The old Phoevous is good and unique but with some issues, the players didn't use him that much but this revamped might kill himself. But who knows, he will get his desire adjustment in the future, this is the first week of launching this revamped
Maybe make like other cc such as teamate cc and flameshot knockback works on phoveous ult. It would be much better. And i think makes the ult work on enemy dash in this phoveus revamp just would make it too op since it has no cooldown.
The thing is he went from being situational to being self dependent, because his ult can only trigger from his own skills, not from spells or his own team cc
Good for 1v1, not so much for teamfights
Skill set is good but about the charac design they should give him ancient clothes why would someone give jeans to an ancient guy, change his hairstle give it an old look the weapon is nice and bring back his purple glowing eyes plus remove those dark circles 💀
Idk if this would make him broken but
- Reduce is passive to 5s all levels (if possible make it so each time he hits a hero he reduces his skill cooldown)
- Increase the ultimate range by a bit or just go with the old one.
- faster animation on both his 2nd skill and ultimate.
I really hate how they remove the shield from his first skill and ultimate, because it gives him much more advantage in harrasing opponents and not forget how tanky he is during team fights than it is now. Good job moonton 👏
Only the skill 2 needs changes in the original version, first skill with shield and ult with chasing effect is already perfect. From this point just delete the hero if their gonna push him that way. At least retain the old ultimate
Most of the people that is saying he got "fixed" dont know the power that the old phoveus holds he could out sustain all most any heroes with the right set of builds and emblems and SKILL its sad to see old phoveus thrash talked on like man 😕

God I hate censorship like its clearly obvious when they changed his outfit (and what a surprise, pants, again)
Reasons why
1. Too skill dependent
2. Ulti range was too small
3. Physical scaling for his skills wasn't good. Revamped CoD and Wishing Lantern is good for him.
4. He can't solo Exp against most fighter.
5. Cc meta just destroys him.
6. His melee range was too small when he has a huge chained rock(Obelisk) to fling around like a mad man.
7. His new skin looks AI generated. What's with the eyeliner?
8. His niche anti-dash counter was gone. Minsi can literally stop him.
9. Mm can just snipe him from a distance.
10. Flameshot with physical scaling hero?
11. He doesn't have a frog or grasshopper skin. Hanabi, Zhask, Miya, Odette and Karrie has bug themed skin.

Almost all fighters are skill dependent what do you mean? Lapu is skill dependent, xborg is skill dependent, ruby is skill dependent and so on.

The revamp strips away what made him stand out-his anti-blink skills-which, although niche, offered a unique counterplay.

The design model is overall ok (in my eyes) but did they really, really fkin need to remove his playstyle as a anti-dash hero and replace it with a displacement/pull/push effect i dunno cause at this point im just dissapointed of the overall activation of his ultimate is just being overly dependent on his skill not on a enemy dash/blink skill, i mean i like what they did to his skill1 and skill 2 but the ulti and the passive thats what broke the camels back. TBH im super excited for his revamp but man they just butcher his role and playstyle.

Moonton really bring the revamp into another level of changing and not make it into the revamp itself. Look at how they optimize pharsa skill and it work so well without changing the look, the authentication, the lore and they just make the skills work effectively. Also Valir ? We can say the dev just change his ult. A lil bit new mechanism to learn. But it doesn't really make us feel strange to have nothing left about the past gameplay we had. The freshness is okay. But I think they just need to make the hero, the skills work more effective than changing the whole mechanism of the hero
What he needed was just a enhanced basic attack that could trigger his ult. That's it.

I think the first two skills of the revamped version is what the old Phoveus needs.
He should still have his old passive and old ulti. That way, he is still a counter to dash heroes, but is more versatile because he has a lot of displacement type of skills.
Compared to the mage one we have now. He sucks. He lost his range on second skill, he lost his purpose to counter dash heroes, he lost the fire shot forced dash, he lost his shield, he lost his looks, he lost his walk, he lost his burst damage from magic items, he lost his tankiness, and he lost his 1st skill shield spam to dominate his lane.
It's all a huge nerf and people aren't realizing this! He was just fine. But nooo they had to ruin him and make his physical and have him force the enemies to dash in order to make his ultimate usable.
He passive and 1st skill takes too long before he cc giving the enemy time to escape as I seen in the few playthroughs I watched. He doesn't look unique anymore. He is just a edge Lord now. Also if they're gonna mess him up at least let his ultimate stack because the cc he has can be used up together and all you get out of it is just one ult....
This "revamp" just makes him necessarily harder, useless, and weaker.
He's not fun because if you play a lot you'll understand how bad this really is. I don't care about adjustments he is horrible now.

Actually there's easy way to make him popular first would be adjustment to his passive due now it has CD they should reduce 1st & 2nd CD whenever his passive triggers.
Second would be more buff to his 1st skill cc activation its so slow enemy could easily blink away before his cc applied, at least make it has bound-type cc like diggie so that they would be pulled whenever got hit twice by his 1st
Same, I do not like the ultimate range of revamp phoveus, I saw it, it's like so small compared to the current phoveus
the change I only want to see on Phoevius is the removal of the duration on his ult (like the revamped one). The current Phoevius has no other purpose when ult is on cooldown
Out of context but do you guys think the devs should buff Hilda?, since they implemented the 20℅ damage reduction buff to junglers in the first two minute of the match I think it might make roamer Hilda harder to play since usually you would invade or annoy the jungler, Personally I think an early damage increase in her skill might work, what do you think?

He's not exactly weaker but it sucks thats it's just a new hero instead of his old anti-blink skills. His design is definitely much worse and one of the most annoying things is that he loses his shield.

He's good but he benefits little from the team, making him horrible in a team game. Sure he can fight in team fights but if no teammate can help you you're basically a dead weight. In games like these you're supposed to synergize with others to perform well while Phov goes the opposite direction. (My opinion obviously)
this could have been the revamp of the original phoveus: just add mark to his first skill to at least two stacks to trigger the enemy being displaced. Since his ult relies on dashing/blinking enemies, they should make the first and second skill able to trigger the ult. The 2nd skill alone is not really reliable.
At this point,moontoon should also change the hero name to make us forget that this is not the poveus we know

combine the old one with the new one,keep his new skills(his new 2nd should give knockback instead and of course his no cd ulti) and his passive should be the old one with new nerf to balance it and give back his ability to gain shield and people would like the revamped phoveus+we already have a hero that can benefit from enemy getting cc(arlott) and he is way better
People saying they took away his ability to stop dashes which was what made him original which is just not. Ministthar and Kuhfra were way before him. Everything else they're saying about the new revamp is basically correct. His cc immune is too short, his damage is meh, he can't reach backline properly and Ironically enough, he gets kited easier than his original server version... also please bring back the ball
phoveus early is strong and late game is just like a nerf
So lemme get this straight physical damage so no burst build,
1st skill but with no bounce or damage,
2nd skill with decent CC but not enough range,
3rd skill remains the same just less range and more limitations to use it.
This guy now gets countered by Dash heroes CC and any mm cause he can't close the gap.
IDK the passive but from what I can see it ain't as good as the old one.
They know what they have to do to make current Phoveus good but they refuse to do so.. the plan is to revamp then overbuff like crazy and sell a 200$ dollar skin then to nerf to the ground a patch or 2 later

I played once, and i never touch this Revamp again. Absolutely worse
I mean, they could probably add the new passive with the old passive and adding a CC for the empowered first skill while keeping the other stuff the same as the old one. Other than that, Phoevus didn't really have any problems other than lacking damage stat for early which made him rely on having ult and rushing for items and having only one CC tool to fight against heroes who don't have any dashes
Sooo.... What's the point of this revamp? They removed phoveus's ability to counter dash heroes and his long range diving/chasing ability, aka his two most defining traits. He really looks like a Lapu or Yu Zhong sidegrade now...
Since I'm playing him in advanced server best thing I like about him is his skill 2. Biggest con I see is his ult can be cced wish it was cc immune
Each lvl of his ult has different sound effects, that's cool.
because they removed his one and only unique passive..
If they want to show off that revamp version to make some skins... they will surely need more adjustments and balances.
From my experience... his ult deals fair dmg in the early to mid game .. but he falls off at late game..
He has low spell vamp even tho I added that revamped war axe. That wasn't enough in the late game.
You can't enjoy the chain ult unlike before. You can only do a maximum of 3 ults at a time on a single enemy and the flame shot trick won't work on him anymore.
You cant go full tank build because that dmg from it will not enough to kill mm. And if u go dmg, you will die instantly after landing 2 ults.
I tried every method but it didn't meet my expectations.
I like his original design because he more menace than the new one.
For me, the problem wasn't the remodel, but his skill description and mostly his damage, he can no longer 2 hits an enemy
How to fix this awful verison of Phoveus:
1. Remove the CD of the passive
2. Keep the no CD ultimate (the only positive thing of the rework)
3. Gain shield again when you hit heroes with the 1st skill
4. Reduce cd of 2nd by 1 sec if enemies use flicker/blink skills
5. Remove the stupid black streak on his white hair
I think its ok even if its slow, since ur first skill and second skill can trigger your ult. For me its a win-win
They could have kept his Roman gladiator style, but nope, generic rock emo looking ahh looks way better. 🙄
