Wow I still enjoy watching these type of commercials, back then when they did them they were great. Not today a lot of the commercials ain't what they use to be and that's for sure.
I'm guessing that because these ads were made earlier, they were probably more younger. This is probably the reason why they weren't so cranky or plain dumb.
I was little, so I wondered why the chocolate and the color didn't stick to the 'hair'. But I didn't think about their shoes. Or their gloves. Or how they got their white [m]. Or what if it rained on them. Or what if they encountered a wildcat or something. Another curious detail was, there was only one rope handle. And I wondered why they were marching into the vast desert. But with the intent to 'enter the world to join the milk chocolate m&ms. And how they all already had a song...and...beat...and...also...began a march that they never even discussed. I also thought that before the chocolate dip, they looked like naked boys. And that the chocolate shell was like underwear, and then a color outfit. And I thought that since they were peanut butter and not milk chocolate, the chocolate layer was just a fantasy or 'tradition' to make them fit in with the milk chocolate m&ms. Their hair style, aside being the same, was ordinary. But what I thought I saw were mohawks. And I didn't think of their hair as blonde. I just thought that it was peanut butter too. Which made the lack of chocolate or color stick out as odd or incomplete in style. They could have dyed their hair. Perhaps red like redheads or Woody Woodpecker. Have you seen on Impractical Joker's, Brian Q Quinn describing a man in a waiting room, blonde hair, as having a red mohawk?? There's no TH-cam video of it as an example, but here's some TH-cam links as other examples of how ideas and what-if's could be so...bizarre, it can crack you up. th-cam.com/video/Nl-4nHCYLyY/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/ae4JmMbu9oo/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/2Szzj6XN6pA/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/HcIoFm8dl3U/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/iGOQTLkN_Ok/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/U6lE5YCCaWE/w-d-xo.html
1970s, red and yellow were green and orange back then, then in 1980s they became workers and dance breakers. And finally in 1990s they had their final form which we all know today, red and yellow.

I think these "Chocolate Camp" commercials were an allusion to the origin of M&M's. I have read that M&M's were created for use in the Spanish-American War because chocolate that "melts in the mouth, not in the hand" was a way to carry chocolate without it melting in the hot desert heat.

Nostalgic commercial.
This Was Aired From My Recorded Nickelodeon & Nick Jr. Wednesday June, 3rd, 1995!
Wow... I remember this commercial. What great times the 90s were.
Those peanut butter M&M's are marching to their deaths
LOL that's a riot I never thought of it like that.
Yep, they are marching to get eaten
@@PabloToonimations gummdigxxkhmlc)
Trust me they’re gonna love being in my belly😋😋😋
And the modern commercials they try to avoid getting eaten.
21 years later they come back.
Marcos, not to interrupt but they aren’t discontinued
Wow I’d forgotten this one!
Red and yellow in the 80s: Happy and cheerful
Red and yellow today: Red is aggressive and sarcastic, yellow is dumb and goofy
So sad how things change sometimes :(
The newer M&M’s commercials aren’t that bad. They are funnier than the 80 and 90s commercials
People are such 90s haters these days.

I honestly hate the red M&M today.

The M's will march mile after mile to make you open your hand and smile
Mouth. 🗿
I would pay to see an M and Ms TV show
Ah yes, the good old days, but apparently people are such 90's haters these days -_-
These commercials used to be so wholesome.
I haven't had peanut butter M&M's and all long time mean
This was good animation!
Mr Men And Little Miss 1995
I prefer this commercial to the modern commercials. Point in fact I absolutely LOATHE the current commercials.
I remember peanut butter m&ms
I still don’t know why they don’t make a new character using PB?
Such a thing would be too powerful.
Reversed Song: Ohhh for he's not for here at any, Not the hair for Not the each, Not that but will a bill

How they didn't make the M&M cartoon TV Series ?!??
Hmm... true. I'm kinda surprised that they didn't now that you mention that.
There was a cartoon tv series of Gummi Bears.
Cool
Why does this give me Care Bears vibes?
Possibly because during this time period the commercials had good animation but were very tame and "cute".

Nah. Reeses Pieces only have peanut butter inside, while M&MS have both chocolate and peanut butter/
Ah yes, that's true. Both of them are good though. :)
Outro music?
TH-cam Free music: Triumph - Yung Logos
The peanut butter looks like their hair
I believe Red from there was voiced by Mel Blanc.
Mel Blanc died on July 10, 1989.
M&MS RED
What's the music at the end
The song at the end of the video is from the TH-cam music library called Triumph by Yung Logos.
m and m 2 1992
The next time someone tries to convince you that the 90s were edgy...
theres a difference between early 90s and mid-late 90s
Red and Yellow was awesome back in the 1980s. The new version of Red is cynical and sarcastic while the new version of Yellow is dumb and ditzy.
