Hello Dr. Amit, I hope you are doing great. I just make an effort to assign numbering to your great lectures. I just wanted that students may study these lectures in sequence so they can easily follow the concepts. Hopefully, you may agree with me. My 1st lecture would be Basic Principles of Field Experiments. My second lecture on the list will be (Lecture 2) Treatments, Levels, and Degree of Freedoms, the reason I placed it at # 2 is that the next lecture talks about Treatments, Levels and D.F in the Commonly used Experimental Designs for different conditions, (which will be my 3rd Lecture). Lecture 4- Completely Randomized Design, Lecture 5- Error degrees of freedom of CRD, equal and unequal replications, and Factorial CRD. Lecture 6- Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) Lecture 7- Factorial RCBD Lecture 8- Split Plot Design
I understand every time the Statics subject is very lengthy subject and I don't like this subject but when I saw your lecture I understand every term releted statistics .u r a amazing teacher of statistics . thanku so much sir
In the example you gave for latin square design, you have explained the case with one directional gradient in which we can use RBD. But if we assign the treatments as you explained, there is no randomness in the system. Same treatments are clumped together. Can you explain a little more?
Dear Sir suppose I have three climate chambers with one control and the rest two are temperature spiked. Under each tunnel there are four treatments in miniplots. Will it be CRD or factorial RBD? Or factorial split?
Hi, this Md. Omar Ali, from Bangladesh, Your class is highly informative and beneficial. Special thanks to you. Please keep going with advanced statistical packages for us if possible. I will be grateful to you. I have a request to you. Is it possible to have some videos of R studio or any other software to analyze agricultural data followed by specific design? It will be so much beneficial for us. Thanks a lot.
The main plots are faba bean, potato and barley fields and the sub plots are 3 crop variety by 4 N fertilizer level from the main plots the data was only soil data the other data is from sub plot, can we say split plot design?
Sir, you are a gem for all the students. May God bless you
Thanks a ton
