Just an observation - It appears the research is more valuable than the ship upgrades. So if you are thinking of a certain pack to buy, I would favor the research.
Looks like I am in the roughly same spot as you. Just leveled to 42. I am struggling to hit higher levels of dominion solos. Has this ship helped you so far?

Really the only benefit to this hunk of junk and it actually performs as a hostile killer decently
