If you are curious about the reference "heart in a blender". Nookie came out in 1999. Look up the lyrics to the Eve 6 song "Inside Out" which came out the year before in 1998 and was all over the radio and MTV at the time. The 5th line of the song "Inside out" is what is being referenced in Nookie.
Disagree. “Heart in a blender” was a relatively common expression at the time, basically a way to describe your heart being broken. Both songs are referencing this expression…
Why do so many reactors get that lyric completely wrong? "she put my tender heart in a blender, and still I surrendered". Especially when half the reactors are rap and hiphop fans, who you would think are used to listening to mumble-jumble lyrics, mixed in with plays on words and crazy, and warped flows.
The lyric is "she put my tender heart in a blender and still I surrendered". Has nothing to do with his penis... Even if most of the song does. But not that part
2:14 Rage is a big influence of Fred’s, so of course they have something to do with it, but as far as getting into the history of “Numetal”, Aerosmith joining forces with Run DMC and then of course The Beastie Boys first few albums, and then going into Faith No More, THEN RATM for the angrier side of it all… Mixing the two genres together dates back much farther than a lot of people tend to realize.
@@Defensive_Wounds Korn were, like Papa Roach, Deftones, Linkin Park etc. but it isn't what it was. Though having said that, Korn wasn't what I would call classic Nu Metal
@@fairpark8291Wrong, they actually were a punk/hardcore band before becoming a rap group and they did rap rock and play their instruments in many of their songs.
Haha so funny to hear you do this one. Every white millennial and their parents (like me) can probably still recite these lyrics lol. When MTV was still a cultural force. This is 1999. On the eve of another certain white rapper exploding into the scene. The best Limp Bizkit effort was Break Stuff hands down.
If I could make a video suggestion,I think it’d be awesome to see ya check out “Famous singers 2023 live vocal range” and “Famous singers 2023 sustained high notes” by the channel “PopVocalsTV” :)
If I remember right this song came out after Brittany Spears dumped him. This is about where he fell off. She literally killed his life and he cried about it and it showed. Lost his clout
Dude, if you're looking for deep meaning in a rap song, anyone can tell you Bizkit is not about that. It's about having fun. And BTW, I've tried some modern rap on recommendation and what I heard was nothing other than people declaring themselves the greatest because they can afford to buy any luxury brand on the market. The vacuousness was unprecedented. Thanks, but I'll take Limp Bizkit any day.
Yeah, I'm with you. The second part is way stronger. Nookie isn't one of my fav tracks but Limp Bizkit is FIRE. You should def check out Break Stuff, Rearranged, Boiler, etc.
Nice to see you pick up on the fact that Limp Bizkit are a quality rock band. Fred aside, the *musicians* in the band are great.... Wes Borland is way more influential with his guitar work than the cool kids will ever allow themselves to admit, & John Otto's drumming alongside Sam Rivers' bass give a super solid rhythm section for Wes to riff over. Also, to this day, LB can bounce a live crowd like very few others!! ;)
Lump in throat = trying to keep the tears in. Tender heart in a blender=you broke my heart. Not a penis reference. Everyone does the same songs. Try listening to REARRANGED, TAKE A LOOK AROUND, MY WAY.
Personally love the rapping in this song from Fred cuz of just how intricate the rhyme schemes are in them. It's catchy as fuck, and taking it out would lessen the payoff of the second half
You should finish the trilogy, nookie, rearranged and n 2 gether now. Also boiler, golden cobra, Rollin urban assault and you bring out the worst in me.
Rage against machine first album. Plenty of options. Try eyes of world Without a net. Eyes of the world Grateful Dead . Into. Whatever. Whit people likes. Haha I am browni
Awesome shout out to Rage!!! Facts! Side note, I saw Aerosmith and Run DMC at the Billboards in 2002. The place went CRAZY!!! I’m here for your reaction, not so much the song. Not a big Limp fan. Loving your Taylor reactions!

It’s confirmed that this is an intentional reference to the Eve 6 song, or are you simply assuming it is?
Disagree. “Heart in a blender” was a relatively common expression at the time, basically a way to describe your heart being broken. Both songs are referencing this expression…
@@braindedpxlHe literally says “tender heart.” It’s absolutely without question 100% an Eve 6 reference. Nobody questioned this in 1999.
Loved eve 6 banger!

The fact that he said "tender" heart in a blender is a reference to Eve 6.
She put my tender HEART in a blender, and still I surrender.
If you liked the second half of this song then check out "Rearranged".
Rearranged is so good

I totally agree. They are taking it the wrong way

I'll say it for you: Limp Bizkit is FIRE!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
She had an agenda, put my tender, heart in a blander and still i surrender

That wasn't the same as Anthrax and Public Enemy in BRING THE NOISE,they started the metal/rap collaboration
There was also Urban Dance Sqaud as well
Rage against the machines entire sound was based on "bring the noise" Public enemy and Anthrax.
Beastie boys took it to that level. They're undisputed.
I was 9 when this song came out and whenever my brother played it I was jamming out singing the chorus not knowing what it even meant lol
Do break stuff that’s like my official anthem when I’m upset and angry about something
She put my tender heart in to a blender.
This is Nu Metal. It was a combination of rock, rap and hip-hop. Didn't last that long, but a great compo while it lasted.
Haven't you heard? KoRn and a few others carried the torch all this time and now there has been a resurgence of Nu Metal in popularity again!
@@Defensive_Wounds Korn were, like Papa Roach, Deftones, Linkin Park etc. but it isn't what it was. Though having said that, Korn wasn't what I would call classic Nu Metal
Nu Metal is still going my man.

Anthrax and public enemy, check that out they are the ones that really kicked it off wrap rock blend. Listen to bring the noise.
Love this song,it brings me back to high school

Eve 6 FTW!
RATM formed in 91 and Limp Bizkit 94. There played many times at the same festivals.
He actually got arrested because they shot the video without a permit
Reminds me of Inside Out by Eve 6
I subbed for the Taylor content, but as a millennial, i had to watch this one hahah
