As a dad, I commend this dudes ability to just relax while his toddler is toddler’n
there's no other choice. when you have a toddler you have to watch that thing 24 hours a day. the second you look away, they will find an incredibly stupid way to hurt themselves. they have a 1 second attention span.
He's an overall chill person. But you don't have any choice when cameras are on you. One hint of bad parenting and he'd never hear the end of it.

NYC should have been raising their wages decades and decades ago to correct the nonsensical real estate market, but they didn't wanna do that so they just imported people that could not believe how much money they were making at dunkin donuts. The result is that there is literally no place for a working man to raise a family there unless you have some serious concessions, like taking your baby on a podcast Ian Fidance.

The leadup to this episode made me think, “Surely, Ian was overreacting/over-indulging in the ‘Dystopian Nightmare’ idea.” But like how is the baby 7/10ths soaked the whole episode and every single other person an ever-evolving drunkle? I can watch almost anything and basically exit with my soul and sense of self generally intact but this made me question my entire existence and instinctual focus. Anyway 10/10 I guess.
