In the wake of the recent Lok Sabha election results, all eyes were on Bimol Akoijam, the newly elected representative from Inner Manipur. The former JNU professor, made a significant impact with his maiden speech in the Lok Sabha, capturing the attention of the nation and especially the ruling BJP. Akoijam even called out Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being a mute spectator to the violence in Manipur.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi, who has been vocal about Manipur, ever since his visit to the strife-torn state, ensured the state remained a focal point in his address.
Their speeches were directed towards a renewed focus on Manipur in parliamentary discussions where the state’s concerns were often sidelined.

@ayushshukla6823 of course, let me share more details. I stay in the red zone area we can't sleep properly and we don't have any proper income. Freshly, kuki built a bridge that connected to Myanmar, and still, the Manipur government is silent. Imagine if they succeed in building that bridge.

A conflict that the BJP could have easily stopped right in the beginning. Animosity between the two communities will exist long into the future. We won't be able to move freely in our own state for years. Hate crimes will happen. The economy of our Manipur has gone to shit. Corps, start-ups, and businesses are all reluctant to branch out in Manipur. Manipur was thriving before this. Kashmir and Manipur are very different issues. Kashmir is much more complicated. Manipur's conflict is a piece of cake if the government really gave a shit. Does not India have one of the strongest militaries? It's a communal clash between two sub-communities of a very small state. Why can't they manage to solve this? Do they really don't give a fuck?

We NE have 28 seats in Lok Sabha. We need to get conference on NE focus. And, we do not let others divide us like BJP is doing. Only then, NE will grow peacefully with harmony and NE will grow faster than the rest parts of the India. We Manipuris has much moral and develop potentials than rest people of India. And, rest NE will follow. However, we need to end divisions among us!
