Good music
Tiresome to some which is their choice, right & feelings.
To many others who appreciate music, talented entertaining musicians & performers who write nice, catchy songs and have done for over 40yrs now, which so many bands don’t get anywhere near still being together & playing so long.
Yeh it’s not everyone’s bag which is cool by me cos music & life would be totally fuckin boring if we all liked the same things.
I’d like to congratulate them on having such a long, entertaining, successful career and thank them for giving myself and no doubt so many others a life time of songs that I love that have influenced my own personal music career, songwriting,performing giving inspiration & songwriting tools to be creative writing songs with lots of emotion, feeling & power.
One of the greatest bands in the world, definitely the best Manchester band (IMO)

The smiths & James for me definitely two of Manchester’s best bands, The being so young writing so many classic songs in a 5yr period. James on the other hand have evolved, grown & improved over 40yrs giving a lifetime of great songs, live performances, pleasure & happiness and still doing it now successfully and well.
One reason why I love my home city of Manchester where I’ve lived all my life for it’s great music culture & scene.
True musicianship at it's finest. This band knows how to play extremely well, no false glitz or glamor... just fantastic music. Always puts a smile on the face of my wife and I. We saw them a few years ago at an outdoor music festival in Scotland (we live in Canada). Absolutely fantastic day!!!!

Wow, i mean WOW! These guys are at heights of their powers after (almost) 40 glorious years. The new album is simply stunning and full of energetic soulfull songs. The live renditions are simply out of this world! Can't wait for them to tour outside UK, greetings from Greece!

Absolutely fantastic. I love this version of Tomorrow. For a song that’s knocking on 30 year old this version sounds like it could be on the new album in my opinion.

The consistency of this band is mind=blowing. A constant stream of amazing songs and albums. I've probably heard 10%. Beautiful Beaches is another instant classic.

Wow wow wow. James continue to put out brilliant music, and never disappoint. I'm amazed how great Tim sounds, Saul and Adrian are such talented players. Jim and David are tight as ever. Mark and Andy still bring it. Come back to Toronto please!

One of the very best bands of all time - amazing tracks since the mid 80s - pure class. Saw em live for the FIRST time in December - oh my god - what a show. Love em - the one thing that rankles me is that sadly - as anthemic as it is, 'Sit Down' will always be what they are remembered for in Britain despite both a back and post catalogue that eclipses that one song by miles in my opinion.
