Nice place, i havent been yet but been watching several vids lately about that place, i am 65 and a blue rider with a 2019 RM Instinct BC with all upgrades including 10-52 XO, i see they have challenging blue trails there too and would like some progression, i am about 90 minutes from there. Been going to Uwharrie a lot lately on the weekends, thats 55 mins, maybe tomorrow as its supposed to be nice.
Hey Dr. J. Tore my ACL and about a week away from surgery. I'm curious, do you recommend any MTB specific exercises to recover from your ACL surgery and get back on the MTB asap?
You might actually do some research into conservative management of ACL rupture, i.e. not having surgery. Every TH-cam video of me riding is WITHOUT an ACL in my right knee. I tore mine in 2014 and elected to rehabilitate it conservatively without surgery. I can now ride, wakeboard, snowboard, etc with no issues. It's not for everyone, but I think its for way more people than many surgeons bring to light.

Yes, it’s the double black at the top of the mountain that comes out at Stone Soup. It is challenging, but very fun. It’s definitely worth checking out next time you visit. Great video! Really like your content 🤘
