Sure he may have had a more progressive view (for the time) on being open and honest about sex and he was obviously an intelligent guy. But that doesn't stop him from being a manipulative, opportunistic chauvenist who creeped on MUCH younger women (groups of them) till his dying day. Obviously the girls did it freely and to further their own agendas, but his behavior and the way he treated them paints a picture more of a lecherous old chauvinist who enjoyed controlling people rather than some sexual revolutionary.
