That the fault of the parents they raised her that way no consequneces of actions or handed nice things she did not earn and still live the high class lifestyle. So they thought illegal bribery and cheating the sats scores or pay to get on rowing team that they never had to go to practice for. They thought they did nothing wrong even as they got carted of to the big house and said they did it for love of the kids narristic to the hilt. I mean that just gross. My parents love me and i was not the best student in school grades up and down. But dad told me to do my homework, go to class, no skipping school, but they love me i went to college on my own grades. Dad would not pay a school like that to get me in that way he chose small colleges that had resource services for learning issues.he def not go to prison for me i always try to do the right thing.

Honestly after watching the college admissions documentary. I have mixed feelings about enjoying Olivias content. But one thing is for sure, she is really just trying to live and I see her enjoying the little things throughout her new vlogs and just the overall experience of being a TH-camr because she likes doing it. I live my life the same way currently even though I am not wealthy or privileged. This crime infuriated me but if you watch the doc they state that people are still able to pay to get in to these schools. I've gotten caught up in the black hole that is commenting on social media and it’s always a bloodbath.
Separate from my rage. People forget that it is not our job to judge others and that holding disgust and hate only hurts the person who carries it.Everyone who reads this, stay blessed. This comment isn’t about Olivia or to defend her. It’s about the people who were affected and how what what think about these people doesn’t matter because they don’t care about us.
I have just commented on this, but it probably got lost in the sea of others. This is my opinion on how I view the scandals, and her channel in general:
Everyone is full force nagging Olivia about the college scandals now that this documentary on Netflix has been posted. As a high school student, I work very hard for the grades I earn. The school does not come easy. I am not rich. I do not have famous parents that pave the way for my success. I don't party. I don't throw my education away. It infuriated me about these college scandals.
But what infuriates me more is that the media finds a way to twist the situation about race. This was not primarily because of racial privilege, this was wealthy privilege. Yes, there are Asian-Americans and African Americans guilty of the same thing. What infuriates me more is that it always seems to be the girls/women, plastered by the media. Always the women who are made out of an example. Men athletes, or just men students in general, have done this same bribery tactic too. Why do we only hear about the women who do it?
Lastly, it infuriates me that the colleges have not received punishment or, honestly, backlash in general. THEY accepted the money, THEY admitted these fake "athletes" into THEIR campuses. It was THEM who did it, It was THEM who went through with it. These are things to consider, and things that people overlook. Thank you for listening.

My mom sold drugs to feed us when you love your children you’ll do anything for them. Yes this was a very terrible situation. But in this world no one cares about anyone else and they will step on your face if they have to, it’s life no one plays fair. Stop bullying her she should not have to spend the rest of her life thinking about a mistake she made let her move on and learn from her mistakes y’all want her to be mad and depressed let her be happy!
She never wanted? She’s a child? She was over 18 at the time. Sounds like someone who’s playing victim. I followed her vlogs and she definitely enjoyed the college party life without actually doing the work and never once felt bad (or probably even thought of) that athlete who she stole the admission from.

Green onions are best stored upright in a glass (with the white bulbs in water) and in natural light. They’ll grow and grow! Regular onions should be stored in a bag (an onion bag is a game changer) in a cool, dry, dark place like a cabinet. Celery can be stored upright in a glass as well (in the fridge). I am 27 and can’t rationalize most of the things I did at that age, let alone my parents. Cord solution for coffee maker, run white extension cord from outlet to baseboard, run white extension cord to end of wall behind coffee bar, then run up corner of wall to back of coffee machine and plug in. After watching the college admissions scandal on Netflix (GO WATCH IT, ITS AMAZING) I have a hard time watching her. I have struggled to watch her content for a while. Because they are fine after what they did. They don’t have to worry about their livelyhood, they don’t need to go work a regular job, or try to get into an actual college the hard way. She gets to continue to live this crazy lifestyle. I atleast hope she watched the documentary. Watching the actual facts and how it impacts people and the way the college admissions work in the favor of the rich over everyone is important for her to know. Understanding her actions from the news articles is very different from watching this documentary. I’m not saying she doesn’t deserve a second chance or to not enjoy her life. But they had very little consequences for what they did. They get to resume their lives as if it never happened.
i dont think that she gets to live her life as it never happens, you can tell that this had an impact on her, she said in one of her other videos that she has axienty to be alone in public which is understandable as to people probably recognize her and being nasty to her. i think everyone deserves a second chance. and you can tell that this whole experience humbled her. im not saying that what they did was ok but there is worse things in life.

I’m not saying that I want her dead broke or something. I’m more talking about the imbalance of power and how much her wealth actually protects her and how fucked up that is. Someone gets a speeding ticket and for many people that takes out half their rent or puts them in a very difficult position. The fact that her family as a hole gets to resume their lifestyle after using their wealth to get ahead is frustrating. The fact that she still gets to make money as an “influencer” after what happened is frustrating. No matter how little you think their scam was, it’s a felony. It’s a serious crime for a reason. The imbalance of power in this world and the comfort that rich people have is what angers me. That they can commit crimes and still have no true accountability when it comes to their lifestyle. That was my point here. I do see what your saying, I don’t like the hate or threats. But I stand by my point here.

Nothing too great about her apartment imo. Certainly not worth the 9k+ she is paying in rent. Renting anything is throwing money away. Much better off buying a house that will appreciate in value due to inflation. Living in any city is a complete ripoff and you are guaranteed to be living within close proximity to a bunch of loony tunes. It was not wise of her to show where she lives. It is easy for people to know the complex she is in and even narrow it down to which apartment when you see the view at the 10:16 mark. Even though I'm sure there is a decent amount of security at the complex she is at, there are a lot of crazy people out there so certainly not worth letting millions of people know where you are at imo.

Before you comment, please consider that regardless of what her parents did, whether she knew or not etc., she is still a human being, a young girl. Just try to image what it's like to receive this amount of hate. Yes, what has been done is terrible, but you can just easily unfollow her and never see her face again. By watching and commenting, you're supporting her anyway. Some people are writing how horrible of a person she is, but I think the things they say don't make them much better either...You're free to express what you think but I hope you also blame Stanford, USC, Harvard etc. It's so easy to come in here and say nasty things, please express your opinion in a way that you can look into the mirror afterwards... And yes, I also have a hard time getting into her content again, but how would you feel if she hurt herself because of the amount of hate she got? I really hope you have something better to do with your time.
