I bought the Gig XXL on sale. It rocks. It is not boomy and will provide nice mids and highs. Make sure to place it in a good area for the rear port to enhance the sound. LOve Klipsch.

They don’t hold a candle to the JBL Partyboxes! Klipsch had a chance to kill it, but they put a 6.5 inch woofer in the XL and that just won’t get it done. Oh, and a wired mic what the heck

And I can't hear people when they're trying to talk to me. Do they still make any ear pieces that go around your Neck and vibrate? When your phone rings? And then I can pull it up to my ear. Floss if you can recommend anything I share would appreciate it thank you so much

Great Reviews Flossy. The Klipsch Gig XL is not actually Klipsch. It's a rebranded speaker because Sharp is 12% the owner of Klipsch and probably made them and told Klipsch to put their name on them. I opened it and typed in the models for the drivers and it lead me to Sharp.

Floss.just got marshall Middleton. Not crazy about the battery life, but it definitely outshines the extreme 3. Especially on hi res music hard wired.
