MODIFYING R1 YAMAHA FORKS TO FIT XV1000 TR1 YAMAHA VIRAGO CAFE RACER

In this episode i modify, cut and thread the steering stem to fit the YAMAHA XV1000 Virago steering neck.
Look how beautiful these forks and wheel combo look!! I cannot wait to fit them onto the bike:)

Did you change bearings in stem

Hi Devon How many spacers did you have to use on the bottom of the stem when you replaced new bearings Thanks Geoff.

Devon what size was your threaded nu and your nut size and width of nut did you have to do anything after that or did the stem fit without further modification Thanks Geoff.

Hey man sorry for the late reply. It's a 14mm bolt that I used or threaded rod depending what you can get. I then tapped the steering neck inside. Just been moving houses so I am sorry for the late reply.

I used 2 nuts to gain the correct length and to lock it in place
