I would nt touch hwang with a bargepole never stayed at a club more than 2 seasons apart from one half decent season at salzburg where he got 11 goals in a team that scored over 120 that season his stats have been absolute dross he was on loan to buy at wolves which was completed last month when he signed full time for them and yet a month after completing that deal wolves are happy to let him go if the price is right sorry but somethings not right about this guy

Games come in all shapes and sizes. Formations, styles, injuries and fatigue over a long season. Players get burnt out. Confidence drops and rises. To say we don't need our best striker is a very short sighted way to see it. If you see him being replaced by someone else then perhaps....but that is very unlikely. One thing is for sure, even if we had all three (rodrigo/bamford/gelhart) available. There will still be games in which some would be more useful than others. On paper Bamford is the best of the three. Gelhardt has youth and exhuberance. Rodrigo seems to benefit when confidence is high and we are able to enact a decent press. Bamford is very good at making runs and holding the ball up for fellow forwards. He is also (when sharp) our most experienced ( even with rodrigo) and accurate striker. If we can get him fit for even 20 games this season then for me it is a boon to the team. I do hope, however we dip in for another striker as we really can look blunt up front when rodrigo's confidence is low and Bamford and Joffy are inevitably injured.

we've scored 7 in 4 , paddy is not needed to score goals, we probably wouldnt have scored 3 against chelsea if we had paddy playing
