      Yes, Wode Maya has a “food foot”, growing up we had a cousin nicknamed food foot, because he was always showing up on his bicycle just when the food is ready to get dished out, hehe. Bob Marley and Marcus Garvey would love to see this unity of Africans uniting with Jamaicans. We wash our rice to get rid of any undesirable substance in it.

      @Leopoetess 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I get you. I am in America as well and that's what my mom said it means. 🙂 I googled it just now out of curiosity since there are varying interpretations. Here's what Google says:
      The theory of retrogenesis is simple - once a man, twice a child - meaning that we start out in life as a child, grow into an adult, then as we age and lose abilities, both physical and cognitive, become a child again.
      Hmm, I learned something. That term is unfamiliar to me, but I get your point.

    This is my first time watching Colaz's video from start to end, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it.
    I noticed that Wode Maya didn't explain why Africans use their right hand for eating instead of their left, which actually has a very important reason.
    It would be amazing if Colaz and his team could come to Africa to learn more about our culture and people. There is so much to discover here in the motherland, and I hope they, together with other Jamaicans, can also visit my home country Kenya, the Cradle of Mankind.
    Thanks for the video, Colaz, and all remain blessed.

    Love this! I've eaten this way with Ghanaian and Ethiopian friends.
    No dishes to wash! 😅 Only the pots when you use leaves.
    Thank you Colaz for promoting JA in such a positive, creative way and
    for hosting Wodemaya. A very special link-up indeed.

    Just suggestions you should have people that stand around looking clean the outside of the property and continue to dig the steps coming to the house. Especially before the rain returns. Also it will make it easy to bring up supplies instead of going around JBud House or Miss Little Hot Kitchen.
    Always need to make your job a lot easier for your workers. They will be so tired from climbing the hill with heavy loads and equipment.

    Love seeing WodeMaya with you guys. I'm totally a fan of you both,you guys have very interesting content which keeps me glued to my seat. Loved that Wodemaya explained how our ppl who were removed from Africa used to live and our culture that our ancestors were forced to forget.💕😢 All black ppl that aren't in Africa have a little of the African culture passed down even if it's not completely right. In the US ,you don't use the left hand as well even though we don't use our hands,although some do.Side note: Maggie was originally from Switzerland ,the Maker Julius Maggie is actually Italian. I hear they're making one ( if it hasn't already hit the markets) with a lower sodium content which will be healthier. Big up you guys ,the food looked delicious as usual.😋
