I grew up in Denver CO and this was my pops go to beer. He seriously would not drink anything else. Now at 57 with my dad having passed on I continue to enjoy this beer here in Las Vegas NV.
That’s pretty cool and it’s funny how some of these beers can have us reflect on family times. Miller High Life is that way for me and my grandparents as they used to drink those little bottles, and once in a while I would steal a sip. Now when I have one it reminds me of them.

P.S. Been to Las Vegas a few times too, definitely enjoy that city!
For some reason I haven't had Coors Banquet until recently..wow man.. so, so smooth and tasty! Love it

just tried a banquet today and was pleasantly surprised. Will def be one of my go to cheapish beers
It’s not a bad macro beer and back in the day it had its time as well, I’m not huge into the adjunct lagers but this is one of the more solid ones in my opinion. Glad you enjoyed! 🍻
East bound and down, great song to, I was kinda a micro brew snob for a while but am rediscovering old American beers once again, and there good especially on a hot day.

I`m a Samuel Adams Boston Lager fan myself. Talk about lacing galore to the end of the beer. That`s Sam Adams for you!! However, times be a changing lol. Things nowadays are so damn expensive, it`s really hard to afford the craft beer prices. For a budget Beer, I do enjoy Coors Banquet Beer. Super high in drinkability, and very refreshing to say the least!!
Pricing is definitely having its effect for sure, no doubt about that. And I agree for a budget beer and drinkability, Coors does come through as being a decent enough choice.

Coors Banquet is my favorite beer. It's crisp, a little sweet, and it has more flavor than Budweiser.

I know it sounds cliche but you can really taste the difference with Rocky Mountain water. Very refreshing and easy drinking beer. East bound and down 👍 Great review Cheers
With a beer being approximately 90% water, that does come into play for sure. Many breweries have essentially chemistry labs to make sure they get the correct balance to accomplish what is needed. It is an easy drinking adjunct lager though, and easy to see why they made a movie about hauling this versus some others, lol. Cheers! 🍻

Just cracked a Miller Light, getting ready to watch a Brewer game.
Coors is my go to, but they were out today.
Use to drink craft beer, but I can't justify the cost any longer, besides craft beer tends to get me drunk, and I prefer just to have a nice buzz.

Cheers to you in Hawaii and hope you, family and friends are doing okay with all that took place out in Maui. i hear you on the costs and that has hot for some people for sure which is one reason I think some of craft sales have slowed a bit, but I know things are also more inflated in Hawaii price wise too from what zi have been told. So, I wonder if that plays into it.
But nothing wrong with enjoying a macro if that's your thing too, I don't drink them as much now but during the mid to late 80's and 90's I definitely had my share, lol. Coors has been around a good amount of time and people still enjoy it for a reason , and if a blockbuster movie can be made about bootlegging it then they must have done something good, lol.
Also, kudos to you for knowing your level when drinking, It's always about having fun but yet drinking responsibly!

Oh I know right I've seen Comments on videos of other people that have reviewed this beer who were talking about how when they were a kid, their dad would literally go. Go on vacation and bring back 20 cases of this because they couldn't get it in their state.

Embarrased to say i had it for tbe first time ever the other day. What a pleasant surprise. For sure sweet but i also didnt get the 'chemical' aftertaste i get with some of the A.B. beers. Coors is significantly better than Coors light in my opinion. 147 calories have something to say for that i guess.
Nothing wrong with that, so many beers available now that old staples like these often get overlooked but definitely not bad for what it is. Nice that you had a pleasant experience though for sure. Cheers!

For the price it's a good brew
While I do love high end craft beers my go to beer is a 12 oz bottle of Miller or Coors; both are great out of the freezer.
