I started this project in May 2021 and really wanted to have it finished for January 2022 but life got in the way. I also felt like the video was ~missing~ something and decided that I would continue working on the project to challenge myself and add typography. I'm really glad I did because I had a lot of fun doing it and found myself hyper focused on editing again, which I never thought was possible. I hope you like it!

I really wanted to focus on Cloud's guilt surrounding the loss of Aerith, and thought that this song fit perfectly for their relationship. Even though Aerith may not be physically around for him, she was always there in spirit supporting Cloud.

So happy to see a video from you after so long! The typography was actually my favourite part - not only were they stylistically beautiful, it was SO creative and added to the visuals you chose. I felt like you just chose the perfect one for every line. 1:06 was my favourite - "alone", standing all by himself in a circle, looking so small compared to the word and the world around him.
