Will the 3 years of vocational study can be consider for application of PR? in the future? As I understand you need to be in Finland for 3 years to be eligible for PR.

I’ve replied your mail in details. But answering here for other people who might have same concerns:
Yes you are eligible for Pr after 3 years . But this tenure considered on full time work status which mean your student visa period won’t count in this time.

In vocational training programs there is a lot of practical training, so some work is part of the studies. For that kind of work no additional permit is required. It the student is a citizen outside EU/EEA area, then a residence permit for studies is required to enter and to stay in the country. That permit, residence permit for studies, includes a limited permission to work for income.
After finishing the studies and after getting a work offer it is possible to apply for a residence permit for work.

Vamia is a vocational educational institution and not a university.
Universities in Finland are higher education institutions and can be described to be more academic and science oriented.
The other kind of higher educational institution are Universities of Applied Science, which, as the name implies, are more about applied science and don't have doctoral study programs.

Not a university or other type of higher educational institution.
It is a vocational education institution.
VAMIA was founded 1.1.2017 when Vaasa Vocational Institute, Vaasa Adult Education Center and Vaasa Apprenticeship office merged into one organisation. Some of the educational departments have a history of over one hundred years.
VAMIA is run by the City of Vaasa and is a multidisciplinary vocational education organisation with approx. 5000 students per year (3000 fulltime). Vamia is offering vocational education to youth (16-19 years), to adults, to working life and to the industry. The programs offered are on EQF level 4 and specialist vocational qualifications on level 5. Vamia offers programs in Finnish, Swedish and English.
Almost 60 different vocational qualifications and over 40 study programs are offered within Vamia. The school has two campuses in Vaasa (Hansa campus and Sampo campus) and six fields of education: Energy services, Technology services, Wellfare services, Business services, Tourism services (hotel, restaurant/Catering, tourism, cleaning services) and General Education Services.
Special areas of development within Vamia are Energy thinking, Entrepreneurship, Internationalisation and Lean philosophy.
Vamia is also offering short-term trainings and tailor-made in-house trainings for companies and their personnel. In addition, Vamia offers a wide range of occupational card tests that are to be held for professionals in specific fields such as hygiene test, occupational safety card, first aid etc.

These seems to be some misinformation in the video.
Vocational training study programs in Finland are not bachelor's degree study programs.

    • @TravelRange
      @TravelRange  ปีที่แล้ว

This is called Yrkes Högskola. that sits between University and High school . However, there are many programs in Yrkeskola which are off 3 to 5 years . And most of them makes you qualify for durther certifications. However, if one seek for masters after yrkes skola, may need some exra termin for master. But i am not sure if i said bachelor in video. So you dont simply spot on to your conclusion of "Misinformation" . If you are studying in Finland. Lets have a Pod for this channel. I am ready for online or can visit you in Finland.

As far as I can tell Vamos is not a yrkeshögskola in Swedish / ammattikorkeakoulu in Finnish/ University of Applied Sciences (UAS) in English.
There is one simple way to notice the difference. All institutions of higher education are required by law to collect tuition fees from the students outside EU/EEA to cover the expenses of offering the education. Institutions also need to offer scholarships.
To offer study programs without tuition fees is a clear identification of that it can not be a degree study program in higher education.
