- SAINT SEIYA - It was originally published in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine from December 1985, its first edition being divided into two parts between December 1985 and January 1986 (parts 1 and 2 respectively), until December 1990.
The story focuses on an orphan named Seiya, forced to go to Sanctuary in Greece to obtain the Bronze Cloth of Pegasus, a garment worn by the 88 warriors of the Greek goddess Athena, known as Knights.
After awakening the power of the Knights, which is a spiritual essence called Cosmo (which originated with the Big Bang), Seiya quickly becomes the Knight of Pegasus and returns to Japan to find his older sister, as she had disappeared in the same year. day he went to the Sanctuary. Saori Kido - the granddaughter of the man responsible for sending the orphans to training - made a deal with Seiya, asking him to participate in a tournament called the Galactic War, where the winner among the Bronze Saints would receive the Sagittarius Gold Cloth. Best openning of all time.
In my opinion, it's only ONE of the best anime openings. I put it up there with Mazinger Z and Uchu Senkan Yamato.

This opening theme's cosmos is OUT OF THIS WORLD and it doesn't require Seiya and the other Zodiac Knights to realize it. Definitely one of the best opening themes I ever heard. 🎶 🤯 🎵
