- Today we share our Carnival Mardi Gras what we loved and what we hated. We had a great time aboard the Carnival Mardi Gras as it sailed for the first time from Port Canaveral in Orlando, Florida. We truly enjoyed the ports of Nassau, Bahamas, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Amber Cove, Dominican Republic (Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic). We take you along as we enjoy all the amenities on the ship and we will share a tour of our Cloud 9 Spa Balcony cabin.

Mardi Gras was so much fun! I honestly wouldn't buy the bottomless bubbles package really didn't have that many drink stations. It would have been better for me to bring my own.

Hello, love your content on all of your channels. Do you have plans to try some of the river cruises in Europe? Viking is one that comes to mind. There’s also Hurtigruten cruises to the artic regions, northern lights, etc.
We tried river cruise once and never again. River cruise is a land tour but you use the ship instead of the bus. JMO, river cruise is : small, boring entertainment , no production show, no your owned time dining, it is totally different from ocean cruise.

Going early this may, did you all go on any shore excursions? How were they?
I want to be clear. The Havana area pool and deck were not exclusively to the people in the Havana rooms? I thought that was the point to booking those rooms🤨 I knew for sure on the Horizon that space was exclusive. My husband and I were seriously considering booking a room because of the exclusivity.
When did you take this cruise?
We were on mardi gras last month. Clean, easy to navigate, always something good to eat. Loved the sushi restaurant and how free of smoke the ship was.. Hated that there wasn't an 80s/90s house band and that the nightclub didn't open till 11. Hated that there wasn't a library. Won't cruise mardi gras again.
Clubs don't open until 11. They're clubs. No library? No 80s house band? You sound like a fun time. Glad you won't be joining us.

@@2226robin not to borrow books necessarily just for relaxing, board games, etc. I always bring books.
