- Hello everyone and welcome back to the Pumpkin Patch! 🎃
Guess what time it is? It’s Code Orange time? That’s right Joann’s has Halloween. Actual Halloween too and not just a whimsical goth spring line. Labels and everything say Halloween.
Ride with me as I take you out to my local Joann to see all the spooky decor they have in store. From the skulls and wall art to the witch themed items I go over everything and give you prices and quality reviews on it all.
So if you want to see what’s out there watch this video so you know before you go. Witchy, goth goodies may be incoming but there is also a rant. You’ve been warned lol. Joann and I don’t exactly see eye to eye when it comes to their pricing and this line is no different.

I swear joann overprices items because they’re always having sales. That way they can trick people into buying items because they think they’re getting a great deal, when in reality that’s the price the items should have been in the first place. But that’s just my theory

The Palmistry Hand .lol My favorites are The Purple Moth, The Purple Pumpkin 🎃 💜 with fairy lights, the coffin ⚰️ tray I love to. The caldron is great but not at that price.😅This is a nice collection, I guess in honor of The Escipse this year since it will be a long time till the next one.Thanks again for showing this and making us laugh to. 🎃
Glad I could bring a smile to your face. There are some beautiful items on their shelves but for me they are going to stay there at those prices. And I love all those items too. I’m also a fan of the weird little moon box and the skull sconce. And I’m not going to lie I didn’t even think about it involving the Actual Eclipse. 🤯 That makes so much sense. You nailed it.

I had a butterfly like that on a post in the front lawn, but the lawn guy somehow shredded it with a weed whacker. I later put out a rainbow windmill and he did the same thing. He either just doesn’t care if he hits stuff or did it on purpose.
I mean I don’t know this guy but it seems like he just hates your stuff. I hope you have a new lawn guy! But at least you can get your butterfly back?
Now we know why Joann filed for chapter 11. The prices have always been way too high haha. They've always been high so it's not inflation to blame. They somehow survived not permanently closing recently. But if they don't make some changes they won't last long. They're giving me the pier one import vibes. But I do love seeing some skulls in May!
👏👏👏 I actually filmed an ending to this episode where I made a bankruptcy joke (that’s why it just ends without my usual sign off) but I didn’t know if anyone would get it you are most definitely my people. Should’ve left it in. But yeah I can see the Pier One thing now that you point it out. These prices aren’t making the company turnaround happen that’s for sure. But I’m not about to pass up skulls and pumpkins in May either. I just won’t be buying them.
I love the cauldron, the butterfly, the light up moon, and soooo much more but Joann is drunk on those prices.

Well I’m glad this is your aesthetic. Trust me I lose a lot of weight in my wallet each time I see vintage Halloween so I totally feel you on that. Sorry they are trying to get $50 for a pillow out of you though.

@@TheFallHorsemen You got that RIGHT! I used my little 15% veteran's discount off one potion bottle I Had to have...but I'm waiting for the rest of it to go on sale! Either way, I think Joann's selection is WAY better than MIchael's so far.
@@ceewood3358 I’m glad you got something you had to have. And that you didn’t have to pay full price. And I totally agree with you on Joann vs Michaels. The only saving grace is that I think Michaels will end up being better than it is right now at least. Or at least I hope? And it better take some notes from At Home and get their pricing structure under control lol.

I really like those constellation pumpkins. Overall some of those prices are too much.
No lies detected!!! I’m with you. A small section of resupplied and holiday items for the big ones. Halloween and Christmas and then the rotating area for everything else. I elect you to the CEO of Holiday Merchandising. And I love those pumpkins they are just way too high. And trust me the next batch of Halloween I just filmed for doesn’t get much better lol.

Never said I was worried. Don’t know where you got that at. I was worried about the prices. Which is why, exactly as you said, I didn’t buy anything. I am very happy Halloween is on shelves. I don’t know what video you watched. I had a lot of moments of being excited about this product line.
