You absolutely nail your unboxings - another brilliant job. Definitely a shark, for me it’s more a representation of the dangers that lurk beneath - mermaids being one of them. Personally, I’ve always seen mermaids more as sirens/predators of humans. It’s so interesting to hear other peoples thoughts and opinions. Also, that gorgeous jewel toned tail is just calling for added bling on the scales. Not overt bling but definitely room for some extra shimmers. Thanks for making the effort to contact Anne Stokes, it was great to hear her thoughts also.

That is a beautiful painting and it was so special to have Anne Stokes contact you. Another Artist that has my attention is Jodi Bergsma. I have seen 3 of her paintings on DAC. My SIL sent me print and some painted shirts by Jodi years ago and I was trying to see if Australia had any of her products at the time. That was before the internet really got going. Anyway I think that her paintings could appeal to you.
Hi Christine - as soon as I googled I recognised Jodi's artwork and have seen lots of it around. I particularly like one she painted of a fairy sitting on a toadstool in front of a beautiful full moon. Perhaps I have a thing about fairies on toadstools!
Beautiful! Loved your commentary on this. I think her face looks like she has died, too. Maybe figuratively, but with the dark shadows around her eyes, looks very literal to me.

Actually I'm already reviewing the situation 🤦♀ Thinking maybe 310 crystals for the outlining on the tail. We'll see!
