To be honest i am not suprissed by it. I'm a kpop fan from 2007 and i see all the changes with every gen and less and less new kpop fans were going deep into kpop. I think most of new kpop fans are too lazy, shallow and surface level to try to get into the full kpop experience and they just stick to the mainstream big labels and overhyped groups not carrying about all underrated and nugu groups.
