I've been studying for three years now and I feel like one of my biggest dreams came true (the next one being actually going to Japan). I believe in you. I've been following Mikan for years now and she is fully the reason I even went to japan in the first place, I started saving immediately when i got my first job and managed to go for 3 months to a language school the same way mikan did it because of her recommendations with gogonihon, which i hadn't hear of before then, start to save and you'll be able to make it on ur own someday
Go for it!I was around your age when I first started learning the language.If you really do your best in school and also learns Japanese,you probably can find a scholarship and go there by the time you become a high schooler. That s what I did and it was one of the best choices I have ever made. Please keep in mind that nothing comes without a sacrifice. I spent all my saturdays and vacations studying Japanese since I was 13.I became a student in a Japanese high school when I was 17. I have this username because when I lived in Japan, if I used my real last name it would bring people s attention.I am not half japanese or anything. If I ever went to Japan, I would want to spend most of my time there exploring. So when you vlog, I kinda get to do that from the comfort of my home.
I know you probably don't want to do another video on the virus, but seeing people live their lives super normal in Japan makes me curious of what's happening over there. It's a mess over here in the US and I'm anxious everyday. I'm just looking for some hope that things will be normal again someday :(

Nice that you mentioned Cathy Cat :) Lolita isn´t my style but I also admire the dedication that Lolitas have regarding their hobby. The space problem I know to well (as a cosplayer with over 50 cosplays XD) but I guess they sell their costumes after some shootings too. Otherwise it would be impossible to keep it all, especially in these tiny japanese apartments. It´s a joy seeing photoshootings from other people, reminds me a lot of the times were I did this more often. Bearing every weather for good photos is a lifestyle too XD Personally (and it´s just a preference from being a cosplayer) I would have choosed to cover the eyebrows with a lighter colour since you were wearing a blonde wig but otherwise it looked extremly lovely. Lolitafashion is definitely something you can wear
