Now a days , Buddha's teaching is labeled as Middle path..by lot of scholars. However , It is most profound misuse of the the word " middle path" and labeling buddha's teaching into it .... Buddha never taught it as middle or extreme path ... It is kind very difficult to translate the Pali teaching with the same intentions and meaning and paralleling it with current English or other vernaculars. Just take ... Musa vada ver mani ... Thou shall not lie... This simple but extremely difficult to embrace sheel was redefined by scholars as you can lie some time , if it helps .. lying is not really lie if it help someone to save his life ... These scholarly arguments are devoid of simple practice in life that " not to lie" rather it encourages to lie with such defensive arguments .. which are worthless
