Indeed. It's a bit of a catch 22 with many people willing to go for it if there's at least Rise of Ix attached.. and the publisher waiting to gauge the interest in the base game only in order to add expansions. I hope it turns out for the best and they add the expansions before long.
I think it's likely. Given how large the TTS community for this game is, they'd be shooting themsekves in the foot for not doing it. I mean there are tournaments for this game held multiple times a year there. I for one would love to have a more optimized online play experience this would offer.

@31:32 Can you choose 2 Intrigues cards first and then deicide where to take one bump? I mean, I know you can, but is it possible in digital version...? Maybe you get bump Intrigue so you want to choose different bump as a reward
You should be able to do that. At least sequence of actions in an agent turn is chosen freely (after you play a card and pay cost, if any, and send the agent).
I'm a bit confused on the last part when drawing the intrigue card from the bene gesserit alliance 'demand respect'. We have been playing the board game where this active combat intrigue card where the players are at the end of combat then this intrigue should not be allowed to use. Am I mistaken on the rules?
Good game but REALLY needs IX, just like the base game. Actually surprised you didn't do the second edition, it's like the board game comes out and the PC game does at the same time but is lagging behind. Really odd design choice.

Seems weird to release this now. I just bought Uprising and assumed the digital version would be the most updated version (Uprising). So I don't have any interest in buying this.

Releasing this without expansions is also a bad idea, the game is much worse without them. Why would anyone pay for a objectively downgraded product? The least that could be done is releasing it with Ix as the spice trading mechanics was clearly subpar to space port. They will be competing with a better version of the same game, that already has vibrant community and short queque wait. I am afraid it will be similar failure to digital Blood Rage.
Hmm I will say that blood rage had a most smaller community, and released with tons of bugs, crashes, and was slow. I think if this comes with rise of IX this can be successful a la twilight struggle. But I agree, without any expansions myself, and a I believe a majority of the community won’t buy. I will also say that this looks exactly like TTS, and the actual board game, so if you think this looks like it’s for kids, we’ll one because it is, and that’s how it’s always looked.
