The L3/33 Tankette in War Thunder is the smallest tank in the game. This tiny little guy has only 2 crew members, virtually no armor and a piddly little 20mm cannon.
Imagine using a shopping cart while shooting firecrackers and that's basically what you have! Despite the L3/33 in War Thunder being small, you can still make it work due to its very small profile. So long as whatever you shoot at you can penetrate at least! :)
It's still one of the most fun tanks in the game, though!

Part of what makes this thing fun is you cant just hold back and snipe as a difficult target, you just lose far too much pen at range so you have to do silly cqc.

L3,33 but instead of the semi-automatic 20 mm. It has the GAU-8 Avenger, 7 barrel 30 mm rotary cannon. The same one the A-10 Thunderbolt II has. Plus an extra 70 mm of armor everywhere. And the turbo diesel out of a Peterbilt 389, or something similar. And is now called the L3,34 Scorpion.

L3/33 cc is overtired. But if this can be in game, so can the Fairey Battle, Boulton Paul Defiant, and a long list of other aircraft that should be 1.0 or somehow less.
Great video, as always. One thing I would like to say and I hope I get lots of support. I think you because of the influence you do in warthunder is to get through to people the importance of spending on crews over buying tanks. The second is to talk more about the importance of sharing caps

A number of years ago, a man in Skagit County Washington was killed by a chicken. The thing clawed the man's leg and hit an artery, he bleed out. I think being killed by an L3 is pretty much the same experience.

Good tactics is a force multiplier for the L3... and it doesn't hurt that 1930s-vintage tanks generally had such thin armour (naf roof armour).
Dunno what you're talking about, man, the L3 is one of my favorite tanks. I always have good matches in it. Tiger? Naa I can have streaks of matches where I somehow pen nothing and get popped by driving over toothpaste. Sherman V? Armor? What armor, thing's paper thin in my hands. But the L3... you can rinse an entire team in an L3.

funnily enough, the 20mm ver. of the L3/33 was first deployed in 1942 as an ad-hoc tank destroyer, what the italians were smoking when they thought that was a good idea, i have no clue, but at least BR in WT isn't historical
The L3 is actually pretty fun when its used for its only role of harassing, distracting and baiting people.
I once survived almost an entire fight under fire upside down in a cap in the L3. Made no sense, and was funny as heck.
Yesterday was my first experiance seeing one of these and it was my little buddy towed on a leash the entirety of 2 minutes until I was his personal bunker
One hand you have no armor, but on the other hand your concealment is top tier as you can hide behind anything.

if you want a similar experience but at 6.7 i would recommend the type 60 SPRG. the second gun makes follow up shots very fast but the heat and velocity leave a lot to be desired.

One of my favorite thigs to do in WT is grab the L3, play like 7.7 and just hold points, try god mode or maybe make enemy friends. Is very destressing just have fun playing a videogame.
For some reason I remember this being 1.3 on release. With a suspension that made it seem like you were riding a bucking bull.
I once played an entire match in Arcade with this and lived to the end. I did not even try and be sneaky, I just bum-rushed to B and did everything I could to assist my teammates
Here’s something fun you can do, get as many friends you got into a squad and all go L3 so the whole team is just L3
