      @@DynamaxRVs Hello- I just left a comment on Dynamax website about this for the Isata 5 30FW. I understand that it is depending on how someone is using a Coach as to what is important. IN SHORT- Perfect for us would be a- Isata 5 30FW with macerator toilet and a washer/dryer. The Washer and Dryer separate units. Location--- Sit side X side in the Back Wall Closet Area. Above the Machines- a portion (about 1- 1' 6" hanging rod with A single bank of drawers. If the Machines can not be hidden by opposing sliding doors it is also acceptable to leave them exposed where I could create a custom curtain if wish to cover than from view. Truly do not want to have to get a bigger/longer vehicle than what this is. What are the chance of accomplishing this? thank you for your time and consideration-

    • @DynamaxRVs
      @DynamaxRVs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lavendercloud2174 Not all that likely at this time. One factor is weight, but also length. We just don't have the depth. The closets are as narrow as we can get them right now to keep the length. It would have to get longer to fit a washer/dryer.

      Not in the works right now just due to weight. While the lithium might save some weight, we add two more batteries and the dual pane windows put us over what we are comfortable with in regards to carrying capacity. We are always looking at composite materials though.

  • @radialtravels8601
    @radialtravels8601 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great to see you are responding to comments. Wondering if it is possible to remove the slide and permanently attach the wall to eliminate the weight and complexity of the slide mechanism. Also, can the rear bed be removed to create more seating and/or a workshop area in the rear? Is there anything under the bed (like a fresh water tank)? Any chance you will be making a similar unit that is shorter (without the rear bedroom)? Or perhaps turn the rear bedroom into a gear garage with a separate external entrance? Thanks.

    • @DynamaxRVs
      @DynamaxRVs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Possible? Anything is possible, but it is not an option from the factory. The slide mechanism that we use is very lightweight and the coach is fully usable with the slide IN, so not a lot of risk involved. The rear bed can't really be removed as the ater tank is below it and the full pass through in the back comes UP to the bottom of the mattress in the very back. We are currently not looking at building a rear garage on this or a shorter unit. That is really as short as you can get due to black/gray tank location and fuel tank.

    Glad to see a video of this amazing new motor home. I just wish that they would have avoided all of the gimmicks with the camera like using the fish eye lens and the portions that are sped up. It may look exciting, but it prevents one from getting a really good look at the motor home details, without constantly trying to freeze frame the video to get a look. Even then it's almost impossible to stop it at the right time in order to see a view that shows the details. Please make the video longer, show the details, and stop with the special effects. Other than that, it's a beautiful motor home that I really look forward to seeing in person.

    Very nice! Apparently those flex solar panels transfer a lot of heat to the RV. Do you use any insulate material to minimize heat transfer?

    • @DynamaxRVs
      @DynamaxRVs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There is VHB tape, so they are spaced a bit off of the roof. We also have a fully insulated roof and insulated duct work (most just mold the duct into the roof foam). We have been running these for several years now with no issues regarding heat. While we like the glass panels as well, they are over double the weight and require more screws in the roof. We try to minimize roof penetrations.

    • @gamedoutgamer
      @gamedoutgamer 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DynamaxRVs Great answer!! Yes the glass panels are bulkier, probably create more wind noise and the roof penetrations are a leak risk! Thank you!

      12V compressor fridges still use far more electricity than an absorption fridge...but we are testing 12V compressor fridges now to see what that difference is (in the real world). The goal being that we might be able to accommodate with solar and still put ourselves in positive power generation. (IE, the tanks become the limiting factor not power)

    The 28SS layout is perfect for us, but the long term reviews are showing poor quality solar panels, interiors delaminating, and outside storage bins sagging. For $220k new, there shouldn't be issues like these.

    • @DynamaxRVs
      @DynamaxRVs  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We use GoPower solar panels. They are flex panels for weight savings as they are 1/3 the weight of glass panels. We are experimenting with some lighter weight glass panels, but the ones we use today save 200lbs of CCC and have a 5 year warranty.
      I know of no interiors delaminating. We have seen some bath doors, which are a paper wrapped hollow core door, have the paper peel at the edges. This is often due to the high humidity environment. We are exploring a painted door instead, which would eliminate this issue even with high humidity. And you can aways request solid core for an upcharge.
      The storage bins are virgin rotocast material *gray", not like cheaper recycled black". It all really depends on what you put in them. If you do not distribute the weight, they can sag, but they do not break. For 2025MY, I do think we have an angle iron below to prevent this, even when they are not loaded properly.

      Lots of happy customers would disagree. They don't do it to go rock crawling, they do it for wet grass, sand, etc. If they plan to take it to extreme areas, our customers have lifted them, added super singles, or made their own mods. Just like a Jeep, we give you the starting template, then it is up to your specific needs. We offered 4x2 and 90% of our buyers took 4x4.

    • @wesbarcus3761
      @wesbarcus3761 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DynamaxRVs good points. The type of drive tires can also help in those situations without the need for 4x4. My concern is the possibility of over confidence caused by lack of experience in transitioning from on to off pavement situations where pot holes can cause damage to low skirting behind the rear axle or high centering between front and rear axles.
